@@wildcampp when I look at people's campfire I consider the heat issue. I think it's important to have the fire in the structure if possible. I've seen way too many fires where they have it way out of reach. The structure is getting no heat the person is not going to be warm. When I first saw your video I thought you were going to keep the fire in the tarp with you. The only concern I would have had then is releasing some of the heat from the top, but it would have been a good means to keep you warm. Anyways I look forward to seeing more of your videos keep them coming. By the way where are you from, I live in Florida.

Bro....may be you are experienced star camper....but you should alert about choosing camp place right???where you stayed that is most avoidable rule in camping.... whole place is a damn slope and that tree right over you is in dangerous angle....with heavy rain in slopes it can be a sudden land slide from that tree roots....so is it a logical spot to camp over night?????

So much for a poncho - your pants are soaking wet. An Anorak and over-pants would have minimized that problem. Additionally, you won't normally get caught on bushes wearing an Anorak and over-pants as well as be cooler in Summer weather as Ponchos are waterproof, particularlly hot on arms, shoulders and head.
