Stranded Peacekeeper Challenge! [Season 1, Episode 1] Escape from Tarkov Gameplay

Welcome to the Stranded Peacekeeper Challenge Series, a self-imposed set of rules created by our community to bring a new twist and difficulty setting to Escape from Tarkov. Here, we attempt to create a more open world feel using map to map travel, while highlighting some really great survival aspects of the game without using the flea market, scav runs, and other features. We play the role of a stranded UNTAR peacekeeper who was left behind by their squad. The objective of this challenge playthrough is to upgrade the hideout as far as possible in a short time as we await Tarkov's next wipe. Through my decisions as we loot in certain ways and manage our wild stash, beginners will likely find this series to be a useful guide as well through popup tips and commentary explanation as we go.

I was thinking its kinda weird how you can't use russian guns and I think it would be better if you come up with a way you can earn/learn russian guns as a un peacekeeper that way it doesn't really restrict how much gear you can use.

I think this would be a little easier as a BEAR with a different back story kinda like what I mentioned in the intro with the Russian Military since so many early weapons are Russian. I'm enjoying it though since it's forcing me to use stuff I don't play with too often and making me think more about what I loot. It does work both ways though (BEAR vs USEC)

I just wanna say my brother loved your videos. This was his last video he watched on his KZbin. He introduced me to Tarkov Including watching you. Sadly his PTSD got the best of him on February 16th 2021 during the freeze of Houston. Joshua legit loved Tarkov and watched ur stuff almost every time I was there at his place. He found you around 8k subs and followed you ever since. I guess he missed his military days in some ways and that’s why he enjoyed Tarkov and the emersion. Joshua Tate Arnes is his name if you care to look him up. He mainly went by Surplus online and built computers for free for many people. Truly a great person. Well why I’m writing this is because I want you to know how much your videos mean to me, especially the peacekeeper series. They make me feel like I can hop on Tarkov with him again. That happiness i lost from him leaving this place. I can’t wait to see how much more you grow man.

I really like this concept. Keep up the great work. What do you think about UNTAR patrols being added to the game? They randomly spawn on maps with UNTAR check points. They will roam/patrol the map, shoot scavs/ scavs bosses/ and players dressed as scavs on sight. They will hesitate and give warning shots to "normally dressed" players and will not fire if you wear UNTAR gear unless you fire at them. This will add more PVE and mob vs mob gameplay and add to the immersion. What do you think?

I think what I would change in this challenge would be: 1) I would be default russian because I love AKs; 2) after dying I must go back to a russian gear set but I'm allowed to use UN gear if I find it in raid and get out alive (can't stock to use in another life tho); 3) Cellars extract in Factory looping back to Factory, I think it's cool for all maps to have a way to loop back into themselves; 4) Factory Gate in Woods also gives a scav run (honestly pointless for me since I'm not a streamer, but you never know right)

Ha, yeah I'll either do this one again or some variant, probably this coming wipe cycle. It's a tough balance to figure out how to release them onto YT. On one hand if I do a series, the middle and last videos don't do as well because newer people won't watch it, assuming they've missed a lot. If I do movies, I think it's probably the most accessible for everyone, but it just takes forever for me to edit them out haha. I'll figure it out though, thanks for watching!

If you wanted to do this using Russian loadouts and keep it lore friendly you could call it the stranded FSB agent since the FSB did raid terragroup at the beginning of the conflict which didn’t end up well for the FSB.

Thanks. I'm aware that it'd be nicer without some of the noises, so we got rid of the channel point sounds like "Oh shit, a rat!" since this video. I can't get rid of all the follows and such completely though; there's only so much time in the day and it takes hours and hours to edit and gather footage, so the only efficient way to do the recordings, and only way a smaller channel can really afford to (imo) is while also live streaming them.
