So good to have this visit from you. Hi dear Jude. Thriving onward amidst such a year of past. You are simply amazing and an inspiration . Yes to being a Dog Daddy. Looking forward to that warm adventure ahead. Your last drawing looked like that of a Black Lab . We are in the 10 month of life with our English Black Lab, Finn. All 80 pounds of him !!!! He is a HOOT: Very Sweet, Very Energetic, Very Very Naughty - Did I say Sweet - ah yes I Did..... at the end of the day , SWEET trumps all the naughtiness he has successfully achieved to accomplish FOR THAT DAY... Tomorrow brings an another unusual round of.... " how did he get into that " ??? !!!!!! Thank you for sharing your journey , and mostly Jude, the very gift of you. Looking forward to Holiday yarn self improvement with you (* ; ^ ) . All the best. Warmly, marcia

Jude, have you tried the 'Pedestrian' sock pattern. Very vanilla and free on Ravelry. I use that pattern exclusively for socks for my hubby. It's a lovely pattern for using self-striping yarn. Great video but I will have to come by again to watch the last part! Kate. Shetland.

If you like hockey novels, you should give Beartown (by Frederik Backman) a go. I'm a big fan of him and hadn't read a hockey novel before but really enjoyed that one. I believe it's the first book in a series of three as well.

Hi Jude - wonderful to watch you as always - I'm a bit south from you (Newcastle) and this year my tomatoes failed miserably (I had other stuff going on and didn't look after them), but last year I made green tomato pickles with my unripened tomatoes from a recipe I found online. They were amazing! Supposed to be eaten with cold meats, but I ate them alongside winter stews and all sorts....
@StrandedDyeworks Жыл бұрын
Ooh I might have to try that! My mum made a huge vat of green tomato chutney one year - for the same reason!

I’ve never been to Scotland (someday I hope) but when I went to Dublin march 2019, crazy people were swimming NAKED in the sea. Frigid weather! I’m accustomed to cold weather being from Colorado, but I was on the shore watching wearing my puffy coat with a wool sweater! Lol! Is that what you’ll do throughout the winter?

In Scotland there is something similar on New Year's Day in South Queensferry, people get together to swim in the Forth for local charity organisations, one of my former work colleagues used to do it every year.

Lovely to see your video pop up today, glad to hear you’re having fun with friends, the house is progressing. The cold swimming makes me shiver brrrr. Canada is all about the hockey, the ice might have gone in the rinks already so teams will have the sticks on the ice in no time. No hockey in house though, granddaughter plays rugby and basketball, grandson is basketball and drama with some swimming thrown in. Son in law has played soccer since he was a wee kid and still does. My daughter is a paddler in canoe and kayak…….I knit 😂. Take care, have a great fall 🙋🏼♀️

I've got some favorites of yours I hope to one day get. I hope that what ever is keeping you from Rhinebeck Is something you are looking forward to. Congratulations on your studio upgrade! I am working on setting up a craft room in my house. My chair arrived. Have you heard of a saddle chair? That is what I bought. I opted for the no back one. I put it together and am trying it out. I am so surprised at how much I am enjoying it. The adjustable height function is much better fit than my regular desk chair. My two skeins of Stranded Elf came this week. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!

New to your channel and really enjoyed your episode. :) I have the Salt and Timber book (it's so beautiful) and have been wanting to knit the lighthouse keeper pullover, but was reluctant because it apparently has no short row shaping for the neck... did you add any? Well Jude, once you eat homemade jam, you CANNOT go back to store bought! Tip; I buy bags of frozen fruit at the supermarket and I make homemade jam year round! Buy them on sale and they'll keep in the freezer til you have a day off. Plus they are already clean and hulled, easier than fresh

Aren't live hocket games just absolutely a blast?? I am not really into ANY sport but my local hockey team? oh hell yeah. Love the gardening and putting things aside from it. I did a lot of that when I was physically able and I miss it (planning a garden that is accessible both now and for any future mobility loss now). I also understand how a good fanfic/fandom can suck you in so easily. Mine are different but there are some seriously talented writes out there.

I've just finished knitting your Litmus Cowl. I LOVE it. I used those gorgeous Hedgehog Fibers minis and a Grey British wool cone. I talk about it in a few of my podcast episodes recently on KZbin Bondi Crafter. I was wondering why you haven't charged for your pattern, even a few £ each would be great to buy international flight tickets or get stuff etc. I'm really happy with my free pattern though and I'd like to thank you personally for that. I just like listen to you talk about what you do there in Scotland. Cheers from Bondi Australia
