That cat probably lived there and the owner just abandoned it when they moved out. I had a cat that kept trying to get into my apartment and would fight with my cats when she got in. I finally figured out, years later, that it was probably HER house and she didn't want other cats in her territory.

Poor kitty being left with a bell round her neck when the person feeding her moved away. The bell would have made hunting impossible and announced her presence to any animal that could harm her. I hope it was at least a break away collar.

@Kowalski Kowalski You're so smart!...why assume that I didn't...smh. There are plenty of creators who use these animals as a storyline and profit off it. However, rescuing strays (abandoned or ferrel), I can notice the difference. But, it's just my opinion that you can disagree with. No worries!

Neighbor was taking care of the cat, neighbor intended to take the cat when she moved, neighbors new place did not allow pets, neighbor had to leave her, cat started to check out this woman, who is happy to now take care of the cat; she just needed help in how to entice the cat to enter her apartment.
