@@dididisun Your experience is great! Thank you for sharing. It doesn't define what Holy Spirit decides to do and not do when someone gets saved. He knocked the Apostle Paul off the horse and onto the ground when he encountered Jesus. Man should never judge another man's ministry based on things people are experiencing within biblical bounds or when things are chaotic. Unspeakable joy is in the Bible - laughter is fantastically healing and is an expression of joy. The fact that these guys refer to people barking like dogs doesn't define Bethel's ministry as evil. It means that there might be people there who need deliverance. The pastors don't know if those folks were delivered or not... Judge a ministry by what is taught from the Bible and the fruit of people's lives. You can't get that from a cherry picked video like these guys did. I have visited Bethel a few times and have herd Bill Johnson speak numerous times in conferences. I was trained at Multnomah School of the Bible and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary and I have been a pastor for close to 30 years. I am Reformed in my theology with an appreciation of the fulness of the Kingdom. If you take an honest look at the ministry of Jesus and the Apostles, you can see that there were times of crazy spiritual warfare (the deliverance of the man with the legion, a commingling of the apostle teaching while having a demonized young lady testifying that they were true in what they were saying that they had to do deliverance on etc... Where the Holy Spirit is working the devil is there to try to oppose it. The church should never help the devil by doing his work for him, which is falsely accusing the brethren.

the Bible actually speaks of "unspeakable joy" in 2 different places. This is what you are witnessing. The pastors are arguing from a limited view of the Holy Spirit that isn't Biblical. The Bible says that we are to prophecy, speak in tongues, cast out demons, raise the dead, heal the sick, prophecy etc... these guys are dispensational theologians who teach a doctrine of demons that deny the gifts and power of God. They teach that once the cannon of Scripture was completed that all sign gifts ceased. This is heresy. They aren't capable of understanding the manifestations of the Holy Spirit because they quench the Spirit and reject the gifts of the Spirit. They have decided to hold to a theological view constructed by men instead of what the Word of God says. They are the ones who are deceived on this issue. Notice I haven't taken the leap that so many on here have and accused them of not being saved. (referring to those who call all Bethel people unsaved and demonized). They are deceived and, unfortunately, are now talking about something they have no understanding of. Interesting side note. One of the greatest Reformed theologians of our time is R.T. Kendall and he has offered to debate MacArthur on the issue of whether the gifts are for today and MacArthur has run from it. And it is unfortunate. He would be exposed in this area of his theology and ministry for the better if he would take on R.T.

This video is disturbing, when I first saw these videos I was assuming this stuff was fake but having so many involved means something is happening, but in all honestly I wonder if they are pumping laughing gas into the room or something like that.

On one side I wanted to experience what they experienced but on the other I was like there is no way this is the Holy Spirit because I have felt the Holy Spirit and I was wrecked but I still had self control I just felt so loved and full of peace in that moment. But this didn’t feel right at all

When I was touched by the holy spirit.. I felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness at first because I was barely beginning to understand who Jesus was and how he died for our sins. It just really hit me, I cried so much but not a hysterical cry, just so many tears coming out of my eyes, I wasn't even trying to cry, I was trying to stop, and I couldn't stop the tears even though I would close my eyes, but right after I felt rejoice because something was telling me to, because Jesus was risen and he's alive and he is with me. I felt extreme joy. So from overwhelming sorrow about how Jesus was crucified for our sins, to extreme joy for his resurrection. It was divine. I never believed in Jesus, but that day I felt his presence and im a believe now and forever no matter what! Thank you my Lord Jesus Christ Son of God!

Roman's chapter one tells us that God spoke to us in ancient times through the father's and prophets and now He has spoke to us through His Son Jesus Christ. Everything we need to know Jesus revealed to us. The book of Revelation is Revelation about JESUS CHRIST! In acts when they spoke in tongues it was babbling an unknown language but other languages from foreigners and everyone understood their language. The pentacostal and charasmatic churches aren't preaching the gospel. No where in the Bible does it say " name it and claim it" or " word of faith prosperity preaching." Whoa to them when they stand in front of The Lord.

No one ever said that Revelation did not take place after the conclusion of the Old Testament. In fact can I not point out the last book in the Biblical historicity..."Revelation" Revelation 1 King James Version (KJV) 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: I will say this unto you my brethren. With the New Testament there is no more need for divine revelation. God reveals himself to me all the time in ways that makes sense to me, BUT it lines up with what scripture says. Its not new revelations, like what Bethel practices, it's not adding to God's word. It just clicks in my head in how God does his revealing.

I was raised Baptist, married my wife who was raised in an anti- Christ upbringing. She was later adopted by an AG family and she gave her life to Christ. We currently raise our 5 children to the Lord in a combination of Baptist, AG, and Messianic Judaism. My question that wasn't answered in the video is concerning the " less than Orthodox" or " Baptist" , worship of God in scripture, by King David. I'm old enough to have lived through the Florida " barking thing" which I don't agree with, but I have also yet to hear a truthful Baptist explanation of David and actually even Saul being " slain in the spirit".

"Falling out in the spirit" and whatever else is going on in that video clip do nothing to make the name of God great, nor do they communicate the goodness of the gospel. That is the problem.

I haven't watched the whole video yet because I am a bit troubled by the cackling and need to pray, but I have had the Holy Spirit have me "fall out" I don't know what to call it. But in my heart it deeply brought glory to Him. I was requesting prayer for terrible anxiety... when the preacher at that church prayed for me I felt God's power run through my body like lightening then I was on the floor. I felt no pain at all when I landed on the floor, . But I think God was showing me that He was a million times stronger than those who had harmed me in the past but also extremely gentle (His power did not hurt me, nor did the falling). I think many people fall of their own choosing because they think they're supposed to (some call it curteousy falling) but when it's really God, He's demonstrating His power (albeit in a tiny way that humans can handle).

No reference of Acts 2? Peter had to clarify to the people that those who were in the upper room were not drunk but rather experiencing the Holy Spirit. We are in the age of the Holy Spirit, something not defined in the Old Testament so why do we look for rules from then when we are under the New Covenant?

Bethel is an extreme example of deceived young people! If their leaders however did/do not know Scripture themselves, what else could be the outcome except pure chaos? My concern can only be for each one of those deceived individuals that they have since found a true Christ centered church ! My only comfort lies in the doctrine of predestination, urging us believers to be ready with the Gospel of Christ at all times everywhere ! Where the holy Word is preached, the fruit of the Spirit becomes evident. Lives are changed. God is exalted beyond comprehension, for God can NEVER be separated from HIS WORD! Amen. Over the years I have personally witnessed the „fall“ (splitting) of several charismatic churches around the globe. What a painful yet sobering experience for all the sheep, who were suddenly left without a Shepherd!!! God knows however who really belongs to His Family! He has commissioned the Holy Spirit to gather His remnant across oceans and continents shortly before Jesus’ return. And this surely won‘t come about by deafening worship-music, but solely by truly biblical worship and clear preaching of the TRUTH of GOD‘S WORD !!! Pro. 8:17; Mt. 7:7

God gives us a spirit of discernment for a reason! We need to use it, and as for instruments used in worship, David implemented instruments in worship, so I disagree that instruments are any less a part of worship. They are an extension of our worship to God! People think church is supposed to be quiet? I hate to break it to you, but what do you think heaven is going to be like? What John MacArthur states about the 5 minute mark that the end of the New Testament is the end of divine revelation and that God is no longer speaking is not biblical. Jesus says the exact opposite in John 14, 15 and 17.

The scripture they use is found in 1 Corinthians 13:10. To them their perfect commentary bibles was sent to them to help them understand the scriptures with, that has canceled out the wonder working Power of God

Psalm 46:10 - "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." We are commanded to be still and learn. GOD speaks to us in a still small voice. As a retired professional musical expert and scholar of classical sacred music, only music based on the ancient Hebrew modes are to be used in the composing of and performance for the worship of GOD. Profane public based music and rhythms are absolutely demonic in origin. Unfortunately, the vast majority of humanity is not aware due to ignorance.

Thanks for your comment. Seems limiting worship music to "ancient Hebrew modes" might be a bit much. Traditional hymns contain enough solemnity and praise to qualify as acceptable worship music.

Thank you for this...I have been wondering a lot about drums...there is something about the strong beats..especially when they are super loud and strong...that doesnt feel right to me...the church I began attending a few months ago has a drum set...a whole band..(and all the lights, on the 'platform' 😩) .but when the drums get loud and rhythmic, it feels off to my Spirit. Your comment confirms that for me. 😪 I've seen the videos about frequency and beats effects' on water...and we are mostly water...I almost feel like it could be vibrating our very cells. 😱😖 Thank you for that info, though. 🙂

The whole Kundalini spirit is a theory about the charismatic church that is being spread all over the internet which is a deception in and of itself. And many Christians have bought into it. It goes something like this: They will show pictures of people in India falling on the ground, shaking, and all other kinds of manifestations that take place in a charismatic church in the US. They assume that since this is what is happening in India under a demonic spirit, and it looks like the same thing that is happening in Charismatic Churches, then it must be the same spirit and have the same source as it's influence. This assumption is in itself a deception for Non-Charismatic Christians. If this same reasoning existed in the days of Moses then the Elders of Israel would have fled from Moses and accused him of handling strange fire for turning his Rod into a serpent because the The Egyptian magicians did the same thing. They would have accused him of trying to start a false Israeli Cult. After all, if in Egypt rods are turned into snakes and now we have a man claiming to be from God turning a Rod into snake, well the obviously conclusion is: the only spirit that does that kind of thing, must be the Egyptian Kundalini spirit, so as for this man Moses we better stay away from him because he is operating under a Egyptian Kundalini Spirit Come on Church have some discernment. I think anyone who has not experienced the fire of God hasn’t gotten into a deep or close place with God. So there is definitely a purpose for the fire.. it’s not just for a feeling, but for cleansing and cutting off of sin. But these “theologians” don’t even understand this.. I think to take a video out of context and commenting on it without knowing what was transpiring there is not better than taking God's Word out of context. 1st of all. How do we know that they were not actually praying over and delivering people from demonic possession? We use several selected Bethel, Elevation Worship, Jesus Culture, Red Rocks Worship, and others songs in our worship. The songs are beautiful and lift up God's name. They speak of His Love, Mercy, and Forgiveness, Faithfulness. They are songs of Power and His power in us to overcome our afflictions, sicknesses, etc...There is a Spiritual MOVEMENT happening. And it is this. God will know who are HIS by their staying TRUE to HIS WORD. I do not get my theology from the worship music, I get my Doctrine by reading God's Word. I think that people Tearing down other people's ministries when there are so many people out there lost in the LGBT culture, same sex marriage fiasco, and Abortion battles, There is alot more people out there who don't even know God's Word 101. And you all want to tear down a ministry because they show one video clip from we don't know where exactly, and because they are a 5 fold ministry where they believe in the fruits of the Spirit you want to shut them down and make them ineffective when this movement of people getting introduced to Jesus probably for the first time all over the world is happening thru these groups? Well, if they don't listen to Christian music then what do you think the alternative is? I went on one of the commenters sights who was commenting negatively and they had Dio, and other secular artists on their listening page. Now THAT is demonic! So maybe watch what you post before tearing down someone else's ministry or get out there and do some of your own.

The problem here is a man-originated interpretation of 1 Cor. 13, not that God still moves supernaturally. YES there are liars out there who claim revelation that contradicts scripture, but that doesn't mean all revelation or supernatural encounters from God are a farce. You've gone too far.
