This place is incredible man. I watched the other video the other day and it is just as enjoyable the second time around as it was the first. Thank you for going out there to share this with us, such wonderful 60s and 70s wallpaper, carpets, appliances and whatnot

What an amazing place. Retro ++ Another massive building left to the elements rotting away. It must have been so beautiful in its heyday. Thanks so much.

I went to this place back in 2008-09 and it was in such better shape. Its really sad to see it in this condition.

Those to the windows nailed tables come in handy in case of a vampire attack - you can impale the suckers just by shoving them onto the table legs! 😅

Foil wallpaper in the 1970's was extremely expensive and many were only able to do one wall as an accent. 0:48 metal chairs from the 1950's era. Now, if this building were in England it would have been renovated as affordable housing, but not in America because no one cares.

I know this sounds naive but do you suppose the vandals just went from room to room to destroy everything in their path? I imagine this hotel was once a beautiful place....

So what exactly makes this a “hippy hotel”? Looks like one of many former “Borscht Belt” resorts that dotted the catskills and the poconos.

Psychedelic items were all the rage from the 1960's - 1970's era seen in wallpaper, furniture, dishes, glasses, clothes, shoes etc... and many of these items are highly collectible.

WOW! Great explore guys. For a "5" star hotel, the rooms sure were very small. Some of the rooms looked like bathrooms with a bed in it. Very strange! I loved your comments about "knights of the half round table". Thanks for the great video.

Also if ya dig and enjoyed this video on Hippy hotel 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZbin. 😀

Typical American lifestyle - The property becomes obsolete and then abandoned with everything left behind, move on to a new build and furnish, then becomes obsolete and abandoned and repeat. Europeans respect and cherish their buildings and some are over 500 years old and still are being used to this day .... so unAmerican.
