Wow! Superb work here Josh Allan. A very interesting story to tell and a good use of the time. Here are my thoughts on the cinematic aspects. Awesome work on the sound design and mixing, it really works as one cohesive soundscape with adequate space for the dialogue without being overrun by it. I also really enjoyed the framing and blocking of the characters, landscape and background elements, it really was a treat to watch and I really enjoy your filmmaking style presented here (along with the editing to convey that) and would love to see more. I did find the large chunk of dialogue by the husband in the forest scene a bit hard to parse all at once on the first viewing. Maybe a bit of space after each line to allow it to sink in to the audience in the delivery, but I don’t know how that would affect the pacing and rhythm you are going for with the dialogue. All in all though keep going, this was a really good piece.

This movie was pathetic in that the man was so "feminine" and pitiful. I sensed no masculine energy about it at all. Stick with the book of Hosea!

Considering what I previously said, your reply is pathetic even more so than the feminine, worldly portrayal of "Hosea" in this short film. Again, stick with the scriptures and its portrayal of the book of Hosea.
