Oh my goodness...you are right. I don't know how it played false with my eyes. Here the right answer is Option (C). ** The meeting is “strange” because the person the poet meets is his enemy (“I am the enemy you killed, my friend…”). **between the enemies/ between the dead should be the main factor here....
