I so agree about the taste and freshness of so many foods. Quality is really getting bad. Inflation and shrinkflation are bad but then you add inferior ingredients and tastes of foods you have loved for years and I agree. I am just not going to buy the stuff I am becoming unhappy with. It is not like there are not alternatives.

Definitely some things that no longer taste the same to me. I bought Stovetop Stuffing for the first time in a long time. It was not nearly as good as I recall. Like others are saying- it seems that ingredients are being changed due to cost.

Definitely as you are hitting the stores, I would do what you can to highlight the price of eggs wherever you go, maybe milk as well despite it has been holding steady. KROGER WILL HAVE MILK ON SALE THIS WEEK! But, eggs in general, any store you go to that should be a priority. Even some grocery stores in my area in Washington State are dealing with shortages of all the eggs. My local IGA store down the road from my house was charging well over $10 for an 18 pack. Sticker Shock!!

From what I can tell, the cheapest our frozen turkeys got were $.98 per pound outside of the Thanksgiving coupon purchases. Roasted or baked turkey sure puts a good smell and warmth in the house mid January. At the price of chicken wings, imagine plopping a turkey down on Super Bowl Sunday and it being cheaper than a mess of wings; periodically carve some slices but let folks carve themselves as well.

Yeah you can't beat Meijer Hamburger prices! Great quality they have there own butcher. Sometimes it's $1.99 a pound not very often, but sometimes you can catch it at $1.99 a pound. Last time I went I paid $3.99 a pound, still a good deal.

I ran to my Winn Dixie today after a doctor's appointment to get some things for my donation boxes. I had told myself that I would only run in, get the things on my list and run out. Well... I never seem to listen to myself! While walking up and down the aisles (not all of them). I found some clearance items for 50% off. Plus, at the entrance there is a kiosk where you scan your card, and it prints out coupons. I did take advantage of a couple of them. So, while I didn't stick to my list, I did get some good deals, some of which I will be able to pass on to others. Oh, and eggs were over $8 for 18 and almost $7 for a dozen. Glad I didn't need any.

Non organic produce, head lettace 3.99 red or white onions 2.49lb 18 count eggs 9.19 15oz Skyline 5.19 The prices are going up every week on everything, box of 4 Marie Calender Pot Pies is 12.99 now, 13oz package of Butterball Smoked Turkey Sausage is 2/9.00 ( 2 years ago they were 15oz package and was 2.59 ea.) Going to go watch some more of your videos now. By the way, I prefer Gold Star...
