A variation of this works in null when bubbled as well. In that case check to see which side of the bubble is closest to you, double click a point in space roughly in front of your ship, cloak, mwd, then as soon as you're cloaked double click in the direction of the nearest edge of the bubble. You don't have to turn off mwd, it'll cutoff after 1 cycle anyway due to the cloak. And the directional change should prevent anyone bumping your cloak off by getting within 2k. It's not foolproof, but it'll get you out 99% of the time.

Interceptor or t3 cruiser travel Fit. The t3 cruiser, I use loki, can be fit to carry 1200m3 aside from other modules if you spend 8 hours a day in dronelands farming. I farm drone items which sell for a lot so everything I farm there is considerably tiny in size. It's not uncommon to return to HS with a few billion in modules and blueprints. I always leave my missiles behind as they're most of the Wright since I can't be out there docking anywhere

Good stuff. My method is to use the keyboard and put the Cloak on F1 and the MWD on f2. I select the target to warp to in the overview with the mouse. I hit the 'a' key (align) and say, "Dah." Hit the F1 and say, "Dah." Hit the F2 for the MWD. Wait until I a see the MWD start to cycle. Hit the F2 again to tell the MWD one cycle only. Wait until the MWD is 80-90% done. Hit F1 to turn off the cloak. Say, "Dah," and start spamming the 'd' key. As long as I do the little rhythm without rushing it it works great. Like others have said, practice, practice, practice...

There is a version of this you can do even with basic cloak, and without even using MWD, as I think the cloak + MWD only works for higher tech levels. I devised a version of it for a basic Algos. What you need to do is hit align to get lined up, then hit cloak the split second your auto cloak from the stargate ends. With basic cloak you cannot use MWD...but you can hit the '+' on the speed panel and you have a full 13 minutes to ( very slowly...30 meters per second ) drift away from the stargate while cloaked. But what's great about this is that you don't need to wait all that time as even at that speed you will still insta-warp ( even from 30m/s ! ) to aligned point if you decloak and hit jump. So this is a method that avoids fiddling about with MWD completely. I haven't tried this with larger ships..barges, etc...but it works very well for smaller ships if you don't yet have the tech level to do MWD while cloaking.

You can also get pointed/scrammed if it's a max scan res ceptor with remote WebOS on it. This gap depends on how well you do the trick. After that point it comes down to latency between the two players and the server.

Just a quick hint. While cloak mwd works for 99% of the time, be aware that there are critical places you need to be aware of. One would be the abazhon system on the amarrian side. When they camp it they often use the einherj fighter drones of the nearby structure to decloak people using this trick. Also Tama sometimes gets spammed with wrecks and cans to make it impossible to cloak due to distance

How does this work with Impels? I've seen people pull the trick off with Impels without any intertia stabs... which make no sense. It takes 13 to 18 seconds to align normally with armor plates instead of inertia stabs. The MWD and Improved Cloaking device means you'll travel at roughly 1.1X your normal speed if you had enough time, except that a MWD cycle lasts for 10 seconds, so it shouldn't reach 75% of your base speed when the MWD cycle ends and you drop cloak.

Delay the cloak as long as possible to gain some initial velocity. Delay the MWD as long as possible if it allows additional speed gain before the cycle. Overheat the MWD to increase the speed gain during the cycle. Use more powerful MWDs. Don't use plates

Only bubble can tackle your ship,or massive lag because they can't target you in warp. You are landing at 0 and activating gate instantly.9/10 times if you jumped wrong gate you can't prevent jump by spamming jump/warp to another object because session change is already in progress.

At the 2:50 mark, the reaction time seems faster than you might expect when looking at eve onlines controls from a surface level of knowledge. Knowing nothing about that, players physical manipulation of seemingly clunky controls, and lock times on small things like frigs feels suprising. Did they have someone on the other side of the gate letting them know to be ready? Do they use some sort of keybinds that are available to select you that they are spamming?

Typically they will have a scout on the other side, yes. However they will also notice the 'gatefire' sound and visual (colour indicating incomming or outgoing) as well as the local-chat update (showing all players in system) before you loaded the new system yourself. By holding down ctrl (keybind for locking) and freezing their overview (this forces any new objects to appear at the bottom) they can be spamming leftclick into that position. Command will be invalid while you are still holding your gatecloak and initiate the locking process onto you the moment you decloak and appear on overview. By 'activating' their tackle modules without any targets locked it will latch onto the first thing they lock without delay due to reaction time.

@@alex_zetsu holding ctrl down freezes it. so same button as locking. If you click a targeted module (guns, tackle, etc) it will engage your current lock, or the next lock if you don't have any current lock. So wait for gatefire. click tackle module. hold down ctrl. spam-click the free space underneath the lowest overview entry. pray the target is the next thing to appear, and not some random.

if you have a cov ops you can warp and hit cloak immediately. it doesnt get any speed penalty so you dont even need the MWD trick. you do need the cov ops cloak thow. and yes there is even a cloak hauler . they are called blockade runners

T2 cloak makes this irrelevant since you can warp whilst cloaked. If you can use a t2 cloak on your hauler then Blop's cyno bridging is a better option.

It will take you longer to get into warp in that case. However in contrast to a normal warp initiation you will be cloaked during the alignment, preventing enemy ships from shooting and tackling you. It's a safety measure.

you should to Cloak first then MWD. you have 1-2 seconds before other modules are not able to activate anymore after activating cloack. By doing MWD first you are blooming your sig radius. Depending on server ticks you could get unlucky and get locked due to MWD but before cloak activates. Cloak + MWD instead of MWD + cloack.

Actually if the campers have enough scan resolution, they'd still be able to lock you the moment you click align. I have been locked by these campers with super high scan resolution three times a year. So this method is not unrivaled.

Such camps easy to avoid by overview books on dest gates, but i can't imagine a way to avoid it when you just out of a gate in a smart camp.
