Maaannn Iso you never disappoint!! Got me philosophical at 8:30am haha.. I wrote a song one time with a lyric that said "It's 4am again, I see 4 twice a day, blind to my own reality." The song is called "Prevalence," meaning the cyclic nature of that dark night of the soul/depression where every day just feels exactly the same.. later in the song, I wrote, "Psychotic impulses arising, a (hero-in) my brain. And fornication's never been my sweet dessert, I'm blind to the commercial. Fifteen minutes until self destruct: Nothing is alright today. Today will only become tomorrow's yesterday. Pulsating memories, cast away the truth. Oh, cause happiness is the secret to eternal youth, drugs : inhale, exhale, it's still inside me. This emptiness, this emptiness (the emptiness) prevails." A lot of people seem to do this shit where they are waiting for a miracle or God to just come in and fix something. But as long as you focus on what's wrong with you, you become blind to what's right with you. You can use any inspiration that you want to climb out of your own darkness, but until you do it because you came to the understanding that you're worth it and you deserve better - it's all half measures. You gotta be the miracle for yourself in your own life. Taking responsibility for every bad thing that's ever happened to you.. and for people who've been thru a lot of trauma, that can seem fucking impossible. You gotta come to the light with the same energy that you put in to get to the darkness. There's no other way but on your own, as yourself, and by yourself. Anyone can help you, but only you can change your mind and perspective. Understand that there is no way to see light without the shadow. That shadow is the depth and dimension, without which, the light would just be blinding. To understand your own darkness is to know that light exists too, and it's a CHOICE to focus on that darkness, and a CHOICE to turn your attention to your own brightness. And giving the light your attention isn't ignoring the darkness bc that's impossible. It's two sides of the same coin. Doubting yourself is just focusing on the shadow, so stop it. Find your courage and dig yourself out of your own hell. It's all just choosing what you're gonna focus on. Hope this long ass message helped someone. Stop waiting for the "right time," or some profound change to happen TO you, and BE the change you need. You got this, fam. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

This mans music has pulled me out of some of my darkest moments. I was introduced to the cold side of the world when I lost my mother, lost my father, watched my family break into pieces through the process. The only real friend I have is my dog which I've just been informed that she has diabetes. She had cataracts grow in over night. I had to give her insulin shots twice a day.... but we overcame the diabtletes and she no longer needs insulin! Unfortunately she is still dealing with catoracts... I lost my job almost a year ago.
