Notice nobody in the industry says a bad thing about tech or strange music in general. For two reasons. 1. The sheer respect of the hustle and skill of every single person on this label. 2. Tech is one of the only artists Eminem can even respect or take seriously when it comes to a challenge. Tech worked much harder though with his career to get where he is. Eminem on the other hand had his career practically spoon fed to him once he connected with Dre. Tech has worked harder than any artist to ever touch a microphone regardless of what genre music. No one can touch his work ethic.

Lyrica- tech Freestyle- Eminem Creative- tech Underrated- tech Overrated-Eminem Faster- tech (yes i have heard of Rap God, still Eminem on live shows only did 15 sec of it which leads to him taking a break during the music video) Money- Eminem Your choice ^S^ is my choice
@Svilly1210 жыл бұрын
Lyrics: Tech and Em; Em tells better stories and his more complex rhymes are dope, but Tech can rap the same syllable eternally it seems (like This Ring). Freestyle: Em. Creative: Tech for out of the box stuff, Em for in the box stuff. Underrated/Overrated holds no opinion on how good someone is. Who cares what other people think when it's your opinion. Faster: Def Tech. Money: Another non-factor when it's about opinions. Beats: Eminem until The Eminem Show, then it went downhill a bit.
@bonelesschicken516310 жыл бұрын
Nah i disagree with you about the stories if you go back to tech's album K.O.D lost scriptures of K.O.D, angelic, All 6'd and 7's, and all his other albums before that he tells way more stories. Beats well do you listen to that artist because of beats or because they have a meaning?

I have never seen so many black people hate on another one of their fellow "brothers" as much as black people do to Tech N9ne. I understand he is not your "cup of tea" but god damn. Why can't the black community give respect where respect is due? And it never fails, the minute you see something of Tech N9ne posted, you can assure you will see a SHITLOAD of hate from his fellow black community....why? Because he's different and strange? Because his main loyal fan base consist of anyone not black? Is it because he does not make songs that will make people say "oh this is gonna be hot at the club!" To me it seems like even if you didn't fuck with Techs style, or flow, or what he rapped about, as black people wouldn't you want to praise such determination, consistancy, and heart......This dude has stayed consistant since the 90's and kept it independant. Front to back one of the hardest posse cut cyphers. A lot of shit talking lately on the internet about artists leaving Strange. It's always sad when Teams form and then slowly split up, but at the end of the day for many of these artists Strange was the very first platform that allowed them to be exposed to so many new fans. At the same time it wasn't an overly massive platform so us fans all constantly received the absolute hungriest version of these artists. Every opportunity felt like a professionals first major at-bat determined to chalk a homerun. That is magical and fucking special. Kutt murdered this beat. Godemis had an absolute sleeper verse and best showing and that's against some of the best to ever do it.

The fact that Drake and Lil wayne are mainstream, while rappers like these are mostly unknown, makes me wonder if humans actually crave talent or just like to handpick a couple of people to be celebrities at random, regardless of skill.
@kylej616510 жыл бұрын
I think it's because the little kids that listen to Wayne & Drake would shit their pants if they have to listen to REAL raw talent.
@GordoDustin9 жыл бұрын
lil wayne and drake are no where near talented enough to rap with these guys, that's for sure.
@Kromosz9 жыл бұрын
Don't get me wrong... I like Strange Music. But you underestimate Drake. I don't know about Lil Wayne. I personally don't like him. But Drake on the other hand is pretty talented. Well not to you maybe but I'm a Fan of Drake.
@MrOreo20109 жыл бұрын
Because people talk about Drake and Wayne. They got the mainstream lables, the money, the connections, publicity, promotion... You probably hear of them, everybody knows their names, without even giving a fuck about their music. Tech has those 2mio-average-clicks-videos, nobody talks about him. I know, it's sad, he's sooooooo much better, but that's how it is, music is business and not talent (nowadays...)
@MiaoNya4 жыл бұрын
Pretty shallow observation. Artists like Drake & Lil Wayne, while not as technical as Tech N9ne, create very fun and enjoyable albums that appeal to a wide demographic, especially younger people. Many mainstream rappers appeal through their personality. Other factors include production, tone, message, etc. Quintuplet flows are not the only thing that makes a good rapper. Anyone can rap fast, anyone can string words together from a thesaurus. Still enjoy the Cypher though.

@neilthomas25610 жыл бұрын
Gotta disagree, I think he's the only weak link of this cypher. I generally see Stone & Kutt as the bottom of the Strange ladder, not necessarily ability, they're talented but they're just so 'standard rapper no.1253998347' compared to everyone else on Strange. Kutt goes hard on this though, way better than I expected.
