I remember when I was 14 years old. I missed my bus for school and I had to wait outside in the pouring rain. This lady pulled up to me in her car and said, "get in the car. I'll give you a ride to school." I then said, "no. You are not my mother. You are a stranger." And the lady said, "I know I'm not your mother, but I know her." I wrote down the lady's license plate number and ran inside my home. I told Mommy about it and showed her the license plate number. She then said, "Hannah, I know who that is. She is not a stranger. One time, when my brother and I were home just the 2 of us, a guy I didn't recognize came to the door, and said he was with Envirotech. I was about 14 or 15 at the time. I told him that my parents were busy, and couldn't be there at that moment. After he left, my brother (about 12 or 13 at the time) got mad and said, "that was the Envirotech dude!" Just because that guy said he was with Envirotech, had an Envirotech shirt on, and a van that said Envirotech on the side was parked in our driveway, didn't mean this dude really worked for Envirotech. Let me give you an example of a joke that IS perfectly understandable, okay, and even FUNNY to others I am in a speed running community of this Flash Game called Super Mario 63, and I had some DEVASTATING CHOKES on World Record pace well over halfway in. These rules should also apply to women. Adults don’t have to answer the door to strangers either. I like the information at the end of the video. Even though I am not a child anymore I still avoid strangers. I avoid my neighbours in my apartment complex as well. People can be very sneaky as well they will join a group in order to get close to women to harm them. Just because you work at the same company with someone or they live next door to you or attend the same church as you does give them permission to befriend you. I think acquaintances should fall into the stranger danger category as well.
