For me the Duffer brothers should put these sounds back in season 5 in similar scenes with the same characters who have grown up. It could create some episodes full of nostalgia from the first season, of their childhood when they were still innocent, naive, and normal children... When the world was not threatened and everyone lived in peace in Hawkins.

Love this. Season one has such a quaint nostalgic vibe to it because they made it with a modest budget and didn't know if anyone would even like it. I love the seasons that came after but they're more cinematic and big budget with each one, so the more intimate and homemade feel that S1 had is unfortunately not there as much. The score is a big part of that too. S1 feels like someone found a bunch of old film reels in a time capsule from the 80's and I love it so much.

Yes! My sentiments with S1 and how it reflects with the seasons after are the same. Check out a channel called STUDIOBINDER. They have a video called STRANGER THINGS CINEMATOGRAPHY. They explain the technical difference between S1 and the seasons after, including cameras used and lighting. It’s quite fascinating. 🖐

After season 1, I thought stranger things kind of left the theme of 80s nostalgia and ran with the high budget route. They also added tonnes of new characters so the focus was taken away from the 5 kids we saw in season 1.

I will never not find Eleven to be the most comforting song that came out of Stranger Things. It's nostalgic, it creates emotion, it's peaceful, and just everything that would encapsulate a tender first moment for the poor science experiment Eleven was at the start. Nothing will ever top the season 1 score, the show continues to be great and create that sense of excitement I felt from the beginning--but season 1 is special. The fact that this show became what it is today is incredible. It's hands down never going to not be my absolute favorite, and I hope that stands true for others too. It's a masterpiece through and through, lovable characters and great music, with just enough crazy of a plot, it's terrific. Thank you Stranger Things, you made my childhood and adulthood something special :)

Yes yes yes 10000% everything you said you put my thoughts into words so beautifully. I LOVED season 4 it's probably my favorite but it's almost too emotional and intense to rewatch more than twice. Especially vol2. But season 1 will always be my comfort season I can watch anytime 💕

Atleast you didnt leave him to walk forever. You freed him, Mike. You saved us and led us here. You're going to lead us back to Starcourt safe and sound. I know because you taught me how to be a survivor. We fight, we survive, because it's what we know. Thats what you told me before the safe zone fell." El whispered and softly kissed him as he sobbed. It was then that he realized what needed to be done. He had been ordered by Colonel Hopper to Bring El back safely, along with the vaccine and his squad. He would lead them home and take back Hawkins.
