I was thinking a lower playfield would be a good use of the upside down. No third flipper and no RGB lighting. IDK doesn't seem that good to me. The flow is nice though. Might be good in a medium sized collection. I've been spoiled by those JJP light shows so maybe I'm not being fair. Its going to be cheaper than a typical JJP though.

I totally get the risk-reward with the upside down being worth some points but it seems to me the demogorgon should be worth more, the upside down awarded like 20mil but clearing the drops twice and shooting it into its mouth only awards 5mil.

Hate to say this but gameplay looks kinda boring. The sparseness of the playfield is a real bummer. They went all in on the demogorgon toy and drawbridge mech. The rest is just a couple plastic ramps and 4 drop targets. Would have loved an upside down world under the playfield that is upside down.

I expected a lot more from Brian to be honest AFM and MM are two of my all time faves so i don't mean any disrespect.What i do like is the lighting that is a nice color scheme everything else though is sub par.For a game themed after Stranger Things i would of expected something more than a boring fan layout the possibilities of designing some unique shots and layouts are totally lost here, it is the blandest table i have seen for some years at first i thought it was Tron.

Like Tron but without the ramp light cycle RBG lighting. Its worse... At least they didn't go season 3 here - that was a bit of a let down. Great flow but not much going on with the light show which I half-expected given the theme.

Looks’like we back to 2008 first price pinball with plastic ramps and low cost feel :( i love stranger things but this pinball don’t look so badass. Demorgorgon ok but the rest looks boring. The pro don’t even have the magnet for lock. I hope the premium will be better with the projector.. let’s see next time !

Stern should have had Pat Lawlor for Designing Stranger things pinball.. this title needed much more creativity than this.. no disrespect for anybody, I love Brian Eddy past works! I feel like it would be better to wait until an episodic TV show airs in its entirety before making a pinball machine. This machine already feels outdated because it is only based off seasons 1 and 2 when there are going to be a total of 4 seasons of this show.

On the other hand: spoiling later seasons for people who haven't seen them, characters getting older or dying, and having an unfocused theme are all reasons to stick to early seasons of a TV show if it's still being made.

Got to play this about eight times so far. The lighting and sound design are incredible. While the shots are, of course, similar to AFM, the game feels different to me. Definitely a difficult game, but one worthy of a few good plays, I think.
