This was awesome! I wish some super rich Billionaire would back your projects. You have a talent for storytelling and understanding the characters you are using in the story. Ok, I hate to be that guy, but I feel I just have to do this. Beware, small rant incoming. Please bear with me. Despite the fact that it is needed in order for the video to even be possible, the premise of The Mind Flayer controlling Pennywise is flawed. The Mind Flayer is a superorganism type of creature and shares a hive mind with the many Demogorgons it has under its control. Being an organism, a biological entity, it can manipulate such other entities and those only, including humans. Pennywise isn't a biological being. It's the manifestation of the deadlights, an eldritch form of energy that exists outside of space-time dimensionality. Canonically, Pennywise isn't a living being per se. It isn't an otherworldly, alien abomination, like The Mind Flayer. IT is a lovecraftian god. Stephen King mostly based IT, Gan (The Other) and Maturin (The Turtle) upon Lovecraft's Outer Gods, such as Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth and Nyarlathotep. That is, of course, the novel canon. Movies are different (and that's why I don't really like the movies, because they oversimplified the story and nerfed Pennywise into the ground; getting beaten up by kids and then being bullied to death is inglorious to say the least). In the novel, the children only won because it was, in fact, Gan working through them against IT the whole time, with Maturin providing some insight as well. Also, they were supernaturally gifted themselves (you can think of the losers as prototypes for Eleven, as ST was heavily inspired by IT). They were God's favourites, in a way. And they only managed to beat IT's earthly avatar anyways. IT's true, outerversal form, the deadlights, is a godly, dimensionless, shapeless, abstract, incomprehensible, immortal force that consumes entire multiverses for breakfast (hence IT's moniker, "The Eater Of Worlds") and was only beaten when the literal creator of everything had enough of it and stepped in. IT's more of a self-aware force of destruction or a concept than a physical thing. Long story short, Pennywise would obliterate The Mind Flayer and consume the entire Upside Down, not the other way around. A biological organism isn't much against a god. Also, it's just kinda heartbreaking for me to see one of my favourite characters being lowballed like that and portrayed as a mere puppet. Things just aren't that way. Rant over. Awesome video, Adept! Cannot wait to see more from you! Yes, I'm fully aware nobody asked (hope I'm not ruining the fun here). Also, yes, I know, I must be fun at parties.

The original idea I had planned for episode 1 was going to be Pennywise vs the mind Flayer but I had no way of making that work so I flipped it to make Pennywise possessed.

@@PeteTheGrouch Dude...it's not a novelization. Like, the book isn't a novelization of the movies. The movies are screen adaptations of the book. Yes, King was on a lot of crap when writing it, but his novel IS the canon. It's not like you CAN take it with a grain of salt, because that is the original story. If you prefer the movies, fine. But they are not canon. The novel is. Pennywise is King's creation. Also, what King was doing and you judging him as a person based on that should be a separate thing from assessing his work. It's a basic commandment of logic.

@@Grimlock It's a great story anyway. You are using the movie version of Pennywise anyway. Since Pennywise was under control, it was less effective because the Mindflayer wouldn't be as good at fighting as Pennywise as Pennywise itself, that was a brilliant realization on your part, therefore, the mighty Telekinetic lady and her friends have a fighting chance.
