Hank, Thanks for another informative factory tour! What left the greatest impact on me, was the woodwork shop footage: I caught something ironic that Don had said regarding their cabinetry; “It’s not gonna get flimsy”. …As worker in background rapidly fires staples into cabinet with pneumatic gun. The construction method could be entirely adequate, but I wouldn’t consider it ‘confidence inspiring’. It’s not Amish grade craftsmanship and won’t be confused with the exceptionally precise dove tail joinery found in your own Coachmen class B van!

YW, thanks for taking the time to watch, I appreciate it the comment as well. I think the Amish grade woodwork is top notch personally, as you stated...also I give kudos to Regency for doing most of their builds in house

Exceptional build quality, great floor plans, BUT: Their web site was deleted a couple of weeks ago. They do not return phone calls. One dealer said they are not currently building motorhomes but would not elaborate. Anyone have any more info on the status of Regency RV? Purchasing an orphaned RV is not a good idea...

All that top end work and they cut corners with Renogy. I'm really surprised they didn't go with Victron or Xantrex but understand the cost cutting where they can and still keep quality.

I went to their website and I got to say I didn’t see a single L-shaped countertop that made any sense when it comes to use of space efficiently. I’m not saying they don’t have one but I didn’t find it If they do. I’d like to hear Lola’s reaction to these L-shaped countertops and cabinets because the way they’ve done it it looks to me like all they’ve done is created a large corner space that useless. I don’t even see how it would allow two people to work on the countertops at the same time

Why don’t they use a sliding door like a van instead of a door that looks like a trailer

I still laugh at these companies trying to justify why the prices of vans are higher than their B+ models! just look at all the work that goes into the B+.. side walls and roof, metal tubs for the storage not to mention the doors for the storage. then they paint the entire coach! on the van, they stick on some silver lining and some pink insulation but that marine-grade plywood must cost a bunch lol Time to admit that it doesn't cost more to build a van it's because more people want a smaller vehicle to drive so more demand! and we all know how that works! more demand means a larger sticker price and bigger profits! don't forget the covid pricing lol

Ha Ha you know what Wayne, I am totally guilty of believing the myth of the b van being more expensive than a b+ or a because of "labor costs" to build in side the van...I think after doing this factory tour I'm more inclined to side with exactly what you're saying in certain instances...I think the difference is definitely the build because I've seen b+ vans come in 50-75k under the price of a similar b van based on lower quality materials...and yeah a portion of pricing is marketing or made up in my opinon

@@strangerpalooza And then these companies take the generators out and put in these lithium systems with an extra alternator which is nice, but there's not enough room on the roof for solar panels to charge the batteries after running 10 hours of AC lol so what do we do? we start up our 6 cylinder motor and run it for 2 hours just so we can charge the batteries! with the prices of fuel these days, I think running a 1 cylinder generator would be more economical than running a 6 cylinder motor lol personally I love the all-included RV parks with swimming pools and golf course lol
