I need help understanding the trade listed on KZbin and on your trading platform for Google. On 7/25 you sold a strangle for Google. On 7/26 at 9:44 AM you entered an order on the trading platform "rolling down the untested side" and sold a 185 call and closed a 190 call. Then an order listed on the platform at 3:09 PM on 7/26 you sold a 180 call. This would leave 3 positions short: a 160 put, a 180 call, and a 185 call. Am I interpreting this correctly? Thanks reb

Prohibitive BPE. You like to select strikes based on the delta. But the deltas can change really fast, like what happened in the past week or so. A -.2 delta of a put could become -.8 in less than a day. Many ITM puts, like those on SOXS and SOXL have deltas more than -.50, in Sept. or Nov. That scratches my head!

Equities like GOOGL and TSLA are much different than a 3x triple leveraged bearish ETF's like SOXS and SOXL. You cant compare these together. The delta is higher because of the skew in those leveraged products. Option delta do not move that quickly in equities when you start OTM

@@tonybattista6335 No I am not comparing GOOGL and TSLA with SOXS and SOXL. That skew with SOXS and SOXL puts is a separate phenomenon that I can't explain by myself. By fast changing deltas I refer to NVDA, which is comparable with GOOGL and TSLA. My OTM puts quickly became deep ITM last week when there were only two days to expiration, causing big losses for me.
