Underrated comment by Neil about why this was "the most Strapped of all Strapped" season: no sherpa. The seasons with guides were great to learn more about the area, but something about the "lost in the wilderness" and these three having to figure it out on their own was pretty special.

How did I miss this episode of Strapped? I Love New Mexico. Skiing Toas was our slope, living in Oklahoma. Disagree about the desert. I watched it twice. The second time was to look at just the vistas. Awesome! Go back again, and be in the moment. BTW, I've been to the hot springs. It's better in Winter.
