charming day in strasbourg, France goes wrong. in this beautiful city there is a lot to see. we had an incident with a street musician and it was awful experience.

Very simply, Strasbourg is a city, and like all cities worldwide it attracts all kinds of people, including the ones we don't really want to see.

I thank you both for the honesty in telling the story of Strasbourg, showing it beauty and also mentioning equally the sad part with homeless, drunk and scammers and rudeness you experienced. Pros and cons are really important to me, and you covered it well. Other videos on french cities often just paint a rosy picture that they want viewers to get.

Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace, originally a province of the Germanic Empire, then alternated five times between France and Germany since the 1680's. This is why Alsace is a unique mix of German and French cultures, and such a beautiful place. If you're interested in architecture it's fun to walk in Strasbourg and identify which buildings were built under French rule and which ones were built under German rule. And Alsatian food is delighful, the successful marriage of the generosity of German food and the refinement of French cuisine.
