Great Job love the POV angle of the locomotive chugging along. My boys love the videos.

While 90 may be the most famous engine at Strasburg, I will always have a special place in my heart for 89. She was the first steam locomotive I ever rode behind as a kid, and it helped stir a passion/love that has only gotten stronger now that I'm an adult. BTW, did you hear the astonishing news about C&O 614 coming to Strasburg for restoration? N&W 611 isn't going to be the only big visitor they've had.

Very nice. I've been to the Strasburg Railroad numerous times (my maternal grandmother lived in Lancaster County), though I cannot exactly recall when last I rode a train pulled by #89.

they need to start putting some of the boxcars on, i believe it looks more like an actual local consist that most railroads had during that time period

What’s the reason behind the boxcar 89 had at a few scenes in the video? Was an event going on where it was needed?
@KeystoneRailProductions5 ай бұрын
The boxcar would appear behind 89 in order to transport reenactors from one location to another during the Summer of 63' event held in June.

That 6 chime does not suit 89 at all. Neither does that 6 chime that 475 wears from time to time. It takes away most of the engine’s identities
@RailfanDude6104 ай бұрын
I agree! If I had it my way, I’d have 89 with its CN 4 chime, and 475 with its 8 inch hooter. Then again, that’s just my personal opinion.
