Very cool. Perfect timing. I'm doing a custom build right now and couldn't figure out what kind of pickguard to make, until I saw your videos. I have a sheet of brass so I'm going to do the same. Thanks for the inspiration. I love all your videos and have followed you for a while. Thanks.

Brass is conductor right, don't you ever get grounded if by any chance a tiny drop of rain or water comes in contact with the pickguard?
@RossLiuteriaItaly11 ай бұрын
The Pickguard is naturally grounded through the shells of the potentiometers, it works like a Faraday cage. Being grounded like all the other metal parts (bridge, strings, knobs, tuners) absolutely nothing happens when touched even with wet hands.

I was waiting for a bit of a soundcheck at the end ..... but no .... would have been nice.

Why is there a left-handed bridge on a right-handed guitar?
@RossLiuteriaItaly Жыл бұрын
In order to achieve a "Jimi Hendrix taste". The customer came to me with all the parts, prefinished body and neck, hardware and electronics. the body was already worked and prepared to mount a left-handed bridge to have the reverse look. the neck has a reverse headstock and the customer provided me with a reverse decal. this guitar was supposed to be right but not so much ;)

@@RossLiuteriaItaly Ah, gotcha. I was kind of passively watching and my brain just glossed over the entire guitar being lefty reversed right. My bad. Looks dope so far!
