Anybody else thinks this sounds different than normal P Neoxhoritis? - I mean in terms of vocal quality. Perhaps, the recording equipment was different, or he was younger here.

There is indeed a difference in the way of chanting before and after the Patriarchate, but I don't think it is particularly big. Consider that the recording is ten years ago, with all that implies. I have noticed that his coronavirus disease made his breathing even more difficult, so that he often can´t chant complete musical phrases in one breath, especially in the papadic pieces.

Treapta Ke nu este fixă, ci este stabilită de traiectoria melosului, adică dacă urcă sau coboară. Când melosul urcă până la Ke, acesta e coborât; când urcă la Zo și mai sus, este atras spre Zo.
