I applied this in my new organization and I can't tell you the approach of Junior staff changed overnight. The individuals who had never written a direct email , started emailing me suggestions to improve and the difficulties they were facing.Few started coming directly to my cabin and started opening up . Absolutely phenomenal method !! Creating Community and Common Goal is the way to go . They now know and believe that what they suggest and think , is now heard by someone . Work has started being recognized not by just immediate senior but entire hierarchy and is also acted upon. We all have self goals but we also have ONE COMMON GOAL and if we achieve that self goal will get automatically accomplished .

Leadership is an influence of personal power that creates progressively advancing community towards the common purpose. Leader is not one who creates leaders, leader is one who can create the leaders of leading leading leaders. For him/her, family comes second, business comes first. Common compelling exciting story must be same. Some people come with Thier head and Leg's, other come with their head and heart. Team must have common dreams, not salary oriented.
