The visuals have already been improved in my opinion. Looks nice. The trees also look good with the landscape. I like the more cartoon art style, can´t complain it looks good to me. The details on the romans looks nice too

0:30 Shouldn't the back rows of a phalanx pike formation hold their pikes straight up while in combat? I have no source, but I think logically, they would have because it is simply better for them to hold it straight up to avoid exhaustion, just like the later pike formations in renaissance and 17th century.

they are couriers, needed to send commands to units who are outside a general's shout radius

Hello! Strategos resembles total war in that's it's large numbers of men moving in formations in real time, but in it's mechanics it's more like scaled up, real-time tabletop wargaming with unordered charges, uncontrollable pursuits and evades, priority shooting, order delays, multiple morale levels, and very distinct unit type designations and advantages that affect performance in terrain etc...
