I'm a really elderly Eskimo woman who loves music, my dad owned a record & TV store when I was a preteen & D.J.s would stop. Y to see what was selling. & they brought me tickets to concerts. 1st one was Beach Boys, next The Rolling Stones but I'd been eased on The Billboard & saw the teaser ads saying the Beatles were coming, so I got to see The Beatles 3 times in differing venues. To me Dimash is like being able to say you got to see The Beatles in person. I'm far too old to go to any concerts anymore but to me Dimash tops those 3 groups I mentioned . I had to go thru 3 life saving surgeries this year & I thought of Dimash's since I know now what heaven sounds like.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Personally, I like the live performance of this song and the live version of "The Love of Tired Swans " much better than the music videos. For me there is nothing better to watch than Dimash singing. This song is my absolute favorite one. All the versions. Each time I listen to it (hundreds and hundreds times), it pierces my soul. This MV is the most powerful I have ever seen (you should watch it again to see what really happened to the couple). The power of this song is unmatched, an absolute masterpiece, the meeting of 2 geniuses, the music of Igor Krutoy and the voice of Dimash. Dimash’s music videos are works of art in themselves. I’m so glad you reacted to this one. Alan Badoev directed also The Love of Tired Swans which is one of my favorites. Again he gives what seems to be obvious clues yet leaves much open to interpretation. Dimash also co-directed one of his MVs, Qairan Elim. Storytelling is great in Golden and Be with Me. Love of Tired Swans (LOTS) is a previous Dimash mv by the same director, Alan Badoev - this time shot in Spain, and equally spectacular! Apparently, Dimash was asked by the composer, Igor Krutoy, if he had a preference as to the potential director of the LOTS mv, and Dimash named Alan Badoev because he admired a video Alan had already shot for Lara Fabian ....

There is a great live version of this from earlier in his career with him singing this in front of an ice rink full of dancers and it's magical. In fact the vocals are so similar to this one I think they may have actually used the recording for this video.
