This is sooo good!! So deeply moving when good musicians is harmonizing with eachother. Was on a consert 10 ears ago in the city of Bergen in Norway with Beth Heart and Joe , Never forget it. This was amazing!!!❣❣

In the last year I have been listening to a lot of Joe and I've come to consider him among the best who ever donned a guitar. He has a unique melodic style about his solos that are so beautifully musical. Check him his solo with Beth Hart on "I'd Rather Go Blind" and I'm sure you'd agree he is a master.

Hi Jeff! Joe is without a doubt one of if not the best blues guitarists playing today. Most know of his early years playing on stage with BB King at the age of 12! I happened to be in Norm's Rare Guitars earlier this year where I was selling Norm a 1965 Martin D35 and Joe was in the store that day. Last November I set up a book signing for my friend bassist Leland Sklar and we're talking about possibly doing another one later this year when he's done touring with Lyle Lovette. Love your channel Jeff!!! Bob Love, L.A.

Quick story about Norm‘s Rare Guitars. a few years back I decided to make a trip out there because I had never been. I drove up into my parking space got out of my car and started walking up to the door and walked out and he saw me and he says, “Oh hey, how’s it going? We’re just grabbing some food be right back and we will take care of you!”. I think he thought I was someone else, someone famous 🤣😂🤣

I've seen Joe live six times, including this tour, he's a guitar players guitar player for sure. Nice job with the reaction.

A fantastic mix of music from the east and west. I have listened to Bonamassa many times but never with this type of fusion. I'm glad I had the opportunity

i had the distinct pleasure to see him do a show in Bangkok at the Thai National Theatre which is under Royal patronage. i took a Thai friend who had no idea what we were going to experience. i so love doing that. before the show officially started he came out and did a few acoustic numbers with the band's conga player. my friend was blown away and so psyched. she then got an even bigger surprise when the entire band came out and blew the roof off of the place. she did not sit down the entire show. 😁 he's a really nice humble guy who knows how to connect with audience regardless of where he may be on the planet. he told us a story about sitting in his room in upstate NY playing all alone for year and just practicing, practicing, and more practicing, and now here he was in Bangkok TH playing the National theatre. the crowd went wild. do you think he has enough guitars for one show? tyvm for posting and helping me reminisce about what was a very special night. ☮❤🙏

@@StrateleStudios the Asian woman playing the Erhu is also awesome. there used to be an old Chinese gentleman who busked in the NYC subway. it was mesmerizing to say the least. he always drew a crowd just sitting there in all black with a lap full of bow resin entertaining the commuters. i find the sound of that instrument to be hypnotic and it vibrates in my bones whenever i hear it being played. gets me thinking of my next request when you turn the request line back on.

@@StrateleStudios i lived and worked in Asia for 30+ years, so i gained some knowledge while there. from my experience the Japanese play a Shamisen and use a triangular pick rather than a bow. i will be retiring there in December after spending time in NYC being a caregiver for my HS roommate who was run over by a car a few years back. time to sit on the balcony overlooking the Gulf and just relax.

I believe that instrument she's playing is Chinese and called a duxianqin. It's amazing that in the higher ranges it really sounds like a wind instrument.

Joe is a legendary electric blues guitarist already, probably since he opened for B B King at only 14 yo. Suggest his mind blowing live solo with Jimmy Barnes, doing Stone Cold. Even the Jimmy Barnes haters seem to enjoy the older, gentler Jimmy with Joe. lol
