Very nice! But how about sound transfer? These tiles are very thin next to conventional ceiling tiles. Because of their thickness, the conventional tiles absorb sound. Your tiles seem like they'll have no effect on reducing noise from the floor above.

TwinMillMC use Sound Batt insulation above the ceiling, up to R-30. Believe it or not there is a difference between Sound Batt insulation and Thermal insulation. I know this from personal experience, I've been in the acoustical grid ceiling business for 38yrs.

I see the recess lights in some tiles. - does that require additional reinforcement? Thanks

But when you cut them they are not dropping flat on the grid help please

Are these strong enough to hold a ceiling speaker? Or an LED light? They seem too flimsy to be able to.

I mean I wouldn’t mind replacing a water damaged tile if it means I can see I have a leak in the ceiling. If these are water proof you really don’t have any way of knowing you have an issue with water above until it’s way too late

Will the 2x4's have a tendency to sag compared to 2x2's?

The only bad thing about the waterproof is that if you have a leak its harder to spot that leak.

Horrible tiles, DO NOT BUY! They will fall from the ceiling just from the opening of a door.
