Saw this group on this tour and was particularly blown away by Bill! I was of course familiar with Billy and Wolfgang, but did not realise how much of an improvising monster Bill was. Great group, great album!

Yeah, Birds of Fire has an intensity that I reserve for something like a road at night. His solo albums have some tasteful programming on it. Hard to beat "Spectrum" which is my favorite.
