Free addon coming soon: Creative Mesh releases Straw Harvest, the acclaimed expansion for Farming Simulator 17, for the latest entry of the series. On April 7th, Straw Harvest will be available for free on the Modhub of Farming Simulator 19 on PC/Mac, PS4 and Xbox One. With the free addon you expand your farming operation to the pellet industry.
Straw Harvest allows you to enter the pellet industry using authentically rebuild machines and tools by KRONE as well as Bressel und Lade. Included is the worlds first mobile pellet havester - the KRONE Premos 5000, which produces pellets directly on the field or is operated stationary with the additional bale shredder. Also included are two balers, the KRONE BiGPack 1290 HDP II and Comprima V180xc as well as other tools and machinery.
You decide how to handle your produced goods: Sell them right away, use them for animal bedding or food, or bring them to the expandable industry hall, used for storage and processing. A hall crane to move all the material and an automatic pelletizer will give you full control over your goods. Bale grabs from Bressel und Lade and Lizard including various front loaders, telehandlers and wheel loaders are used to handle the bales in your storage.

24:58 The machine removes the twines before shredding the bale. This happens with the part shown at 24:13 , that part rotates and cuts the twine, wrapping it around that grey part.

Re: twine removal from bales, the little loop the bale goes through with the motor and spool on it, automatically removes twine from bales.

The shed with just the crane is possibly used for the stationary pelleter pick up a pall of a trailer or from a bunk and then switch the bucket and collect the pellets

Now as far as I know, molasses is a sweetener as pellets are often used as food for Horses, pigs, pe for bedding. Molasses is made out of sugarbeet so it would be cool to see them add something that makes molasses out of sugarbeet and the player uses that for pellets.

The molasses is also sticky, and its what holds the pellets together, and yes, it is a sweetener as well.

Hey love the video but I have a quick question was this only available for PC back on fs17 and now that it's available for 19 for all platforms how did you have it setup , did you have a Baylor setup to feed pellets into the machine or were you able to just feed Bales directly into the machine.

three things i want to point out 1. does the premos work with the ingame bales from the kuhn/claas square baler? 2. does the krone round bales work with the bale wrappers? 3. does the krone baler bales work with the autostacker?

About the twine removing. Above the conveyer belt there is this cutter. This will move from the right to the left. This will cut and pull the twine.

You shouldve showed that the pellet machine that gets the conveyor addon, can be put in the hall and used to just put pellets right into the packer machine. Another reason how you could use the crane with bale grab on it. Stack bales in the hall, crane em over to the Pellet machine

i would love a standalone pelletizer, where you can just feed bales instead of needing the big machine that picks upp the straw or needing to atach the conveyor to the side in order to have a stationary one. Then you could put it so it to unnload inn to the storage or hopper at the packing factory :)

that's how I used to use it. park the pelletizer on the far right side of the shed, and itll unload into that first bunker

Pc and Mac are getting it but consol isn’t as they found a bug and are fixing now but folks on consoles won’t be getting for a few weeks more. Better safe than sorry

i hope someone uses this dlc as a foundation for a mod that allows us to make our own seed from certain produce, so that we can be far more self sustainable. a lot like how potato planters work right now. it would also be great if they could let us produce molasses from sugar beet or sugarcane, maybe as a mod? (i hope the modders see this..) also has anyone tested if the pellets can be fed to livestock? or is this simply something you sell for profit?

compresses the bales down better than i rember i rember using it once and then thinking it wasnt enough ( i was doing like 300+ bales at a time so was alot of unloading etc) might give this another go when it goes live i may actually bale welker farms fields just for this lol. used to be able to feed animals pellets aswell wonder if thats still a thing

hope the flat 8 is better than the Lizard version in the game. if you collect bales with collector trailer and stack them, then approach with the flat 8 on any kind of loader the stack goes all twitchy and sometimes falls over without touching it. its also about time a sled was made. would be pretty cool if they did a small bale mod to with a drag sled behind and old conventional baler

​@@benmackarel295 Hi Ben, When I said we I mean all of us that plays and has played the game for quite some time and just about every day, The reason I asked is that I had an inkling that I used the pellets as food in the FS17 days, but I am old and my memory is not as good as it once was, hence the question, the only other way would mean swapping out my hard drive and updating the drivers, to get back the FS17 version.

Jonathan Maybury ok can’t help you much but I can tell you that the hay pellets can be used instead of hay for both sheep and cows and you can use straw pellets in tmr if you use regular hay and regular silage
