Fun fact: it wasn't just two years in-universe that the Strawhats were separated from one another. It was two years of actual, real-time publication between the end of Sabaody Archipelago and Return to Sabaody in the manga. And as a person who was reading weekly at the time, I can tell you that the catharsis of the crew being reunited after so long was indescribable. One of the absolute greatest things I've ever read.
