The ones I put in there were actually local, lol! There is a program where Max works that for 25 buck a month, you get a bag of local produce every week. This week was baby spinach, radishes, rhubarb, strawberries, sourdough bread and 6 eggs :)

What a coincidence- I Happened to have just bought those same freeze dried strawberries for my strawberry pretzel bark. This cake looks awesome. Strawberry crunch bars were my favorite thing to get from the ice cream man as a kid.

They were the cheapest per ounce on Amazon :) I don't understand why you can by every other dried fruit at my grocery store except for this one, they are so good.

This totally looks a lot like a strawberry shortcake ice cream cake, because you definitely have those strawberries in there. But, you also got some cream and a shortbread base in there too.
