Strawberry Smell - Episode 10
Asli (Demet Ozdemir) is a young and beautiful girl who works at a pastry shop and loves making delicious cakes. While she is delivering a strawberry birthday cake to the customer, she is involved in a car accident and ruins her cake.
The person who is driving the car is Burak (Yusuf Cim), a famous womanizer belonging to a rich family. They start discussing from the moment they bump into each other and wish not to see each other again.
Since Asli could not deliver the birthday cake, she is fired as soon as she goes back to the pastry shop. She becomes so desperate and does not know how to a find a new job again.
At that time, her friend Gonca (Zeynep Tugce Bayat) who is working at the same pastry shop accepts the job offer that she has taken from a big hotel in Bodrum. She persuades Asli to go to Bodrum together so that they could earn enough money while working in the hotel during the high season.
Next day, Asli and her friend Gonca fly to Bodrum and unfortunately, find out that the hotel where they are going to work has been closed. While they are wondering where to stay, they find a 5-star hotel whose new owners are about to recruit new personnel.
So, Asli and Gonca decide to apply for a job in that hotel and stay there if they are hired. However, Asli does not know that the owner of the hotel is Burak whom she never wants to meet again. Their lives intersect once more.
In strawberry smell (cilek kokusu) tv series story, you will watch the lives of teenagers and see a relationship of opposite characters. Will Asli and Burak get along with each other very well? Will Asli forget her platonic love and start to fall in love with Burak? Will Burak find true love after he has gone out with many girls?

When you rewatch episodes after watching the entire series, it's very interesting to find moments like 1:46:16. Burak was really opposed by everyone, his parents were ready to abandon him, but despite all the difficulties he proved his true love for Asli. What a wonderful story.

Watching the first 10 episodes again. Bravo to the script writers: 1) Sinan as a single parent raised his son with love and responsibility. Volkan work and play 2) Elcin also a single parent raised a brat, spoiled, lazy, trouble marker, things money can buy it all, no respect 3)Burak mom also raised a spoiled, party boy, never allowing the father to set limits. When Burak met Asli a daughter of single mom who is living in reality,the more time they spent together he understand life is not about waiting for something bad to happen before taking responsibilities it is about learning and being prepared. These script writers are really good in building their characters. Bravo. I am so sorry this series only had 23 episodes. I think more could have been done with Volkan and new girl.

Turkish shows have to be very careful with kissing as it’s considered obscene. I read that shows have to pay a large fine for every kiss on the mouth they show. Don’t know if that’s true, but knowing that kissing in public is considered obscene… it makes sense.

Volkan is not trying to be a mediator between Sinan and Eda. His sister Eda would probably listen to her brother about the right for their father to marry the woman he loves after being a bachelor for many years. I don't understand why Asli cannot tell the mom she met Burak before in the cake and car accident with him. Asli is very close to her mom and tells her everything. Why keep it a secret. Now that Asli realizes she has feelings for Burak and she overheard him tell Cagla he wants to end their relationship, Asli shouldn't hide her feelings for Burak and work out the upcoming challenges of their parents together.

Because she knows her mom has already told her to keep away from the bosses son and she knows how strongly her mom feels about this particularly in relation to their home & financial situation. Asli doesn't want her to mom to feel ashamed or have more hardship then she already has. The issues with Asli & Buracks relationship isn't them... as usual its the people around them that are against them that are causing the problems.

You need not separate the pasta, because when it gets cooked each piece will just separate. When you add the sauce you’ll be mixing/stirring it anyway. Too much stirring will break the pasta,esp spaghetti. Guess that’s the reason why it’s eaten al dente.
