During their stay in teyvat they were seperated, our traveler slept for 500 years, meanwhile the abyss sibling traveled through teyvat on their own journey to find the truth much like our own. They are the same age, one is not older than the other. Yes the abyss sibling has spent time in the abyss, but thats not enough of a significant age difference, and some of that time was spent in teyvat as well
