It's 2023 and I decided to rewatch Lovely Complex today. Since I have a memory of a goldfish, I forgot some of the scenes but I still remember the plot by heart. It feels like watching it for the first time. I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched this show since high school but it's still funny and heart warming every time. This is the type of comfort show I will rewatch over and over again until I get old. Lovely Complex truly is a gem and I'd like to thank my younger self for deciding to watch this show when I was a kid.

i’m 13 years old right now listening to this. In the beginning of the school year,I was questioning if i like this boy at my school. When i watched this show for the first time this year, this is kinda what made me REALLY like him because he’s so similar to otani. I’ve always been a girl who doesn’t really fall in love or like any boys but this show has changed that. Although unlike risa, i haven’t told him that i liked him but im pretty sure he knows.

I think it's better that Lovely Complex has only 24 episodes. Quality is better than quantity ya know! The story has enough episodes to be fleshed out in, but it doesn't drag on like in some anime's over 100 episodes. I personally think Lovely Complex was just the right length! :) But really, 24 or 100 episodes, it's still an incredible anime.
