Donnez à cette dame le temps de remettre cette pauvre chatte en forme avant de parler de stérilisation ! Vous êtes comme ces fanatiques obsédés par leur idée, et qui ne voient pas le monde et la vie autour d'eux. Alice ignore ses petits, halète, est visiblement en souffrance et en danger de mort. Cette dame l'a ramenée chez elle malgré les risques, les puces, les vers et autres maladies. Elle prend le temps cela nourrir avec une seringue, de la nettoyer, d'adapter son alimentation. Elle prend le temps de ne laisser tomber ni la maman, ni les chatons. Avec douceur, elle les apprivoise, ce qui est essentiel pour permettre de s'occuper d'eux à long terme. Lorsque Alice ira mieux, elle saura sans nul doute faire ce qu'il y a de mieux pour elle. Mais entre nous, iriez-vous recommander à un éleveur de chats de race de faire stériliser ses femelles ? Non bien entendu. Donc qu'un être humain se fasse de l'argent en profitant de la santé et des capacités de procréation d'un être vivant ne vous dérange pas dans l'absolu ? Et bien madame, les chats dits "de gouttière" ont le droit de vivre et de se reproduire aussi bien que les chats de race, pour éviter l'extinction et le commerce d'êtres vivants, fussent-ils des animaux. C'est comme si, au 18ème siècle, on avait déclaré normal de stériliser les femmes noires puisqu'elles n'étaient pas des êtres humains mais des esclaves... si vous suivez ma pensée. La stérilisation à bon escient, oui. La stérilisation systématique, non. L'être humain a déjà éliminé suffisamment d'espèces sur notre planète au cours des siècles passés !!! 😤

Alice looks like she is in a complete state of bewilderment, one momemt she is a stray on the streets striving for life, the next she is in a complete state of comfort, while her babies are nursing. Thanks, as you are helping save lives, for demonstrating strength, compassion, stamina, perserverence, and patience by taking time out of the day to ensure the babies and Mom are able to function and thrive. Blanca is beautiful. While she drinks she's extending what looks like some huge paws.

I think Alice needs some mother lessons from Hime and Lara ❤ Alice is a beautiful cat she may need time to become a caring mother especially while getting used to a new home, giving birth and then being unwell, she has had a lot to get used too the poor cat ❤❤❤ The kittens are cute and already fighting each other for milk then loving each other too 😻😻

@adamwilkinson I agree, time with the other Females might help. I remember taking for granted that all cat moms knew exactly what to do, ya know, instincts …. I watched one mom jump right into action and her adult daughter had kittens as well, but the daughter (first time mom) was not that into caring for her own kittens. So Mom had to feed her babies plus her adult daughter’s babies. I finally brought the kittens inside and allowed the moms to come back in forth for feedings. Mom cat started to force her adult daughter into the crate I had for them and she wanted me to shut it 😂 so her daughter couldn’t get out. I did so, and after she allowed the babies to eat and be full, I would open the crate and give her treats. Adult daughter did get better with willingly taking turns to feed. Sorry so long winded with my story 😅 but when I heard of this, it reminded me of what I had just gone through 8 months ago. Everyone is happy and healthy now 🙌

咄嗟に的確な判断と措置をされて素晴らしいです。産んだらずっと子猫を追って追って舐めて世話する母猫ばかり見ましたが、アリスは全く他人事で興味すらなさそうですね。母親になるという能力はこんなに個体差があるのですね。人間もそうなんだろうな。授乳を拒絶しないで良かったですけど。子猫ちゃん、ここのウチに引き取られてよかったね。

Thanks for your quick action in checking on the babies. Mama Alice doesn't seem that interested. As soon as you bring food she eats it and ignores them. I think you're going to have to alternate with Alice feeding and stimulating the babies every couple of hours. I look forward to watching them grow under your care.

👏👏👏❤❤❤❤ Poor lovely Alice. Years ago, I was given a pregnant stray. She acted very much like Alice. After one kitten died, we all went to the veterinarian. After testing & hours of observation, it was found that the cat and kittens had Coccidiosis (an intestinal tract infection caused by a one-celled organism [protozoa] called coccidia, sometimes called Cystoisospora). Because coccidia live in the intestinal tract and can cause diarrhea, they are often confused with intestinal worms, but coccidia are not worms. They are microscopic and act as parasites that live within the cells that line the intestine. ... My cat was so sick - even though eating okay and seeming well - she could not care for kittens. (When she was neutered/spayed months later, her reproductive organs were like mush & rotting.) *** This is also very contagious to other cats.

Being that Alice maybe a first time mother, she doesn't fully take to it normally. Looking at her, I would say something traumatized her. And leaving her outside until her kittens were born just made her trauma worse. If she's feeling abandonment issues, that can cause her to be withdrawn. She should come out of it soon once she feels safe. I've seen this before. Just make sure u show her affection and playtime away from her kittens as well as with the kittens. And also if she was separated from her mate or other family members, this can be causing great distress.

Even when Alice is feeling better, it is still normal for mom cats to pant for about a week after kittens are born. It’s part of their healing process.

Without you, this litter wood would be dead & mama in more distress. This is one of the hardest, most rewarding type of rescues. I’ve been a midwife to more cats than I can count. Many don’t have natural mothering instinct. I they’ve reject entire litters, accidentally smother babies,. However, with a little help most eventually take over. But right after birth they need rest, care add help as much as human moms. I had to have nurses take my baby 12 hours after birth because after feeding she screamed for hours (breast milk & dairy allergies but poor baby was in NICU for 10 days. The hospital released me because watching my child suffer nearly killed me. Think about the poor animals that have no idea what’s happening.

Ne jamais donné du lait à des chats, c'est toxique pour eux!!! Seul les bébé peuvent en boire, mais seulement le lait de leurs maman!!! Félicitation tout de même, pour aider des chats.
