This is the rescue story of a female stray cat with the sound of a horn. The reason behind that horn sound was a severe lung infection. She was treated completely after a 3 week treatment at the vet but when I released her back to the street, she forgot to say thank you :) You will also see the transformation story of another stray cat with a drooling mouth in this video. We named the first cat Yoda and the second one Niagara. And they both became occasional visitors to our garden after their treatments..

Our second channel: / feedandtravel
About Our Channel:
This channel is about the daily lives and adventures of my three indoor cats Santi, Indy & Chewie and our 13 outdoor cats and my dog Walter.
Our outdoor cats are living in our garden and their names are D'Artagnan, The Rolling Cat, The Purring Cat, D'Artagnan's Girlfriend, Porthos, Zoom, Ruzgar, Junior, The Mom Cat, The Big Head, Pamuk Jr and Nope. We also have Pamuk who is our neighbor's cat but always hangs out here.
If you are a new visitor to our channel, I suggest that you watch the two playlists called "All The Videos of Our Outdoor Cats (In Order)" and "All The Videos of My Indoor Cats (In Order)" first.
Apart from the videos of our cats, from time to time I also upload videos of other animals I come across.
So basically, what you'll find here are lots of funny and cute cat videos, an ongoing miniseries about a cat love drama, sometimes rescue stories and always a whole lot of meowing! Enjoy!

Hi everyone. In the first half of 2021, I came across more sick cats than ever in our neighborhood. I remember at one time, I had 4 stray cats staying at the clinics simultaneously. And you also know that we have 13 cats in the garden and 3 at home; sometimes one of them gets sick and by the time he/she gets better another situation occurs with someone else; so there is always something.. This is why most of our videos have been accumulated from the past. Videos from the indoor cats, the outdoor cats and some of the rescue cats that I mentioned above.. I will be uploading them one by one (once a week, fingers crossed) as I complete the editing of each one. And hopefully we will catch the present day before the end of this summer :) As for this video and the two cats in it; I had to take Yoda to a 7/24 vet clinic which I haven’t gone to before because I caught her at night and the clinic that I always go to was unfortunately closed at that hour. I am overall pleased with the treatment they applied to the cat but there was only one mishap. Normally the tip of the one ear of the stray cats get clipped after spaying operations to specify that the cat has been spayed. Because otherwise you can’t tell if a female cat is spayed or not from the outside. It prevents possible unnecessary future operations. But unfortunately they didn’t clip this cat’s ear during the operation (while she was under anesthesia) even though they knew she was a stray. I could have reminded them but I didn’t even think about reminding them because my vet was always clipping the ears of the strays that I brought in. So yeah, this was the only mishap of that story. (I seem to be the only one who catches and spay/neuter the strays on our street so hopefully she won’t get caught for that same purpose again.) As for Niagara; I wrote “she has been spayed” in the video but I want to give more details about that because I couldn’t put all this info in the video. Niagara doesn’t have an operation scar on the side like Yoda has because Yoda has been spayed in the clinic. Almost all clinics here do the spaying operations from the side of the females. Only the municipality here does the operation from the belly and when it was time to spay Niagara, it was also the day when the municipality did free spaying so I took her to municipality vet that day and after the operation I took her back to our clinic so that she could recover there. But the municipality vet who did the operation told me that either this cat had been spayed before (she said this is the case at 99%) or her reproductive organs hadn’t developed at all (

It is so sad for her to be so frightened of humans who r just trying to help her. But, as with D’Art’s case, some kitties are scared of us. Hard to prove to them that our help comes out of a sense of love for them. D’Art finally realized this fact, after many vet trips. Now throw in a case of a feral kitty. Not too hard to figure this situation out!

I know this experience well. I trapped a feral mom cat at the shop where I work to save her from some cat-hating employees there. Also caught three of her kittens and took them all home to board in a back bedroom. She was wild and completely unwilling to warm up to me. It was all I could do to sit on the floor in the room for periods of time to get her used to my presence. Little did I know that she was pregnant AGAIN, at the time I trapped her, before she even weaned her babies. During her gestation and delivery in the bedroom closet, I began to gain her trust, perhaps BECAUSE of her vulnerability. She eventually moved her litter under my bed. I was honored. Now, she owns me. She gets extremely jealous when any of the other cats get near me. She still retained her street toughness, and plays VERY rough with me, evidenced by constant scratches on my hands, but she adores me and purrs anytime she’s around me.

Blessings to you. You are a "Chosen One" as gaining the trust of a feral cat means you are Blessed. They "see" your heart and know you are of spirit, of God. Many can "see" this in humans such as yourself & the maker of the Walter/Santi videos but just cannot bring themselves to trust. Many times it is because they've tried it once before and were hurt, physically or spiritually by a human or were witness to cruelty of one of their cat companions. I prefer animals to most humans. They are honest.

[F/U on our comment. Will take this as full closure of a situation happening over 5 decades ago, when as young teenager was given a kitty6wks old, with age approiate, spayed abt 1.5yo it was done. Then within following 6 months told by parents to give cat away. Did not want to. Why? Because cat was not brushed enough so it was said. Sadly, i gave her away. After 8-12wks checked in to see how she was doing. Troubling to hear cat had run away. Talk about an abandonment issue on our part played out for decades until....in greek isles with a bunch of astrologers. One eve injoying dinner outside a gray cat enters our groups hologram sitting next to me. This cat looked exactly like my Cindy. I started talking to her telling how bad & sad it had been since we parted ways, didn't want to seperate. We luved you & still do. Cat even sit in my lap for 30seconds or so as i told her how much i loved her and no harm was ever meant to be. I did not know better besides why was i not shown how to brush kitty. I should not of followed parents demand cuz since doing so consent was given by me. Anyway, Cindy jumps off lap eats fish shared with her then she walks away. Astrologers said, "Yes, a cat has nine lives."👀, all laughed. Pretty much ended the abandoment issue being carried for decades within."] [Moral of story is dont give/allow children to have pets then take them away. Trauma was not on outside, Trauma was done on inside."] ["Thinking about having a cat again came up as mentioned earlier perhaps to do all necessary research work, physical too, buying lots of supplies, eventually returning some bought before big move to catch the stray cat, bringing final closure, liken to peeling off layers of an onion, as often said, in ones Healing process. From May of 2017 to current day 9/12/21 in a new place in an urban setting we have rescued 7 more. All but 3 came here with health issues, my husband looks at me and says "Honey the cats know a healing place and the cats share the info, much like the hobos in the 1930's America did". He says like the hobos did the cats leave markers telling other cats what they can expect from the house dwellers, food, kindness, medical help etc. Since I have not once gone looking for injured cats I think I finally believe it to be true.

The vets at the clinic are handling feral cats all wrong....you need to use a big towel and wrap it all around the cat, then slowly pull them out WITH the towel wrapped around them still...this approach reduces the stress for the cat and makes them easier to handle without sedation needed. Rescue groups use that approach a lot, such as TinyKittens. Also, the cat is 'aggressive' because s/he's terrified of people and thinks s/he'll get eaten, so s/he's fighting for her/his life...

Being locked in when feeling poorly and having to stay for a couple of weeks isn't easy to understand. Would be afraid that the healthy ones could catch something. In the end they know because they do come back for a visit. Great job and persistence from your side and no thank you expected. All the kitties near and far tell stories about your garden and guest cathouse.

I was laughing out loud at the "You're welcome" comment from Yoda. Ha! I'm trying to capture a visitor cat now but he must hear my mind when I decide to try again as he doesn't come over for days after I think it and get the trap ready. Too smart for his own good. We have ticks here that give cats Bobcat tick fever, which they usually die from. So I want to catch him, get him neutered, and get some tick protection on him. Your city is so fortunate to have you!

Hello Walter, I am feeding several stray cats and kittens as well, I want to take them all to be stayed and neutered to stop all the misery that they have to go through, tomorrow is my first day attempting to trap a black mama cat 🐈 and her kittens, wish me luck. We do it for the love of animals.

this whole garden is so magical. I don't even know where to begin. the fact that she was allowed to come when she was ready, how the other cats also gave her some space when she clearly needed it, Walter... well what can you say about him? he is just the best goodwill ambassador. OK. Going back to magic catland... cya at the end of the vid. EDIT: 3:34 gone like a fart in the wind as my mother used to say. :D

If the cats could talk in human language, I'm sure they would've said thanks to you. Deep in their hearts, they do appreciate the effort and the distance you're willing to go just to ensure that they are having a better health and quality of their lives. If people can take a page out of your kindness book, and keep on churning good deeds, I'm sure the world would've been a better place. To "Walter Santi", take a break if you need to. We know it can be very difficult sometimes to take care a whole sanctuary of cats all by your own and not having the time to produce/upload your videos. We respect your privacy and decisions. Because deep in our hearts, every time a stray found you by chance, we know a guardian angel is there to help them, and that brings relief and joy for us, but most importantly, a new breath of life for those poor souls. May God bless you and your family. Ameen.

Thank you for that Muhammad. So beautiful. I would only like to say that maybe the strays find WS and it is more than chance, more than just a coincidence. I like to think that these enormous acts of kindness not only make the world a better place but help the cats to evolve spiritually too. WS is the good Samaritan and inspires all of us to be good Samaritans and maybe WS's loving heart sends out an energy that attracts the cats?
