I was lucky enough to see Brian open for Bob Dylan in 1998ish (?). Brian and his orchestra blew the doors off the place. It made Dylan up his game, which he did. And Brian joined him for a couple of numbers to close the show. One of the top 5 concerts I’ve had the privilege to see.

Wow! I wish Brian was there when I saw Dylan in Perth 🇦🇺 2018 ish. Dylan was THE rudest act I've ever seen. I've loved him forever but no more. You get one chance at a first impression. No hello or goodbye and played behind a screen. He just walked off. I didn't even recognise any of the bilge. I'd turn up late if Dylan was the support act, the arrogant 💩
@jorgejohnson4513 ай бұрын
@@PH_1964 I saw Dylan for the first time in 1978 and I had the same reaction. I saw him later in Dallas, Tx ten years later and he was better. 1998 was the best I’d seen him live. Haven’t seen him again live. I quit while he was ahead.

@@jorgejohnson451 Hi Jorge, you know whilst waiting to go in at RAC Arena, I got chatting with a group of three couples. They each had a story of satisfaction/dissatisfaction. A couple said they were being "dragged along". I felt dread but they advised me to go in with an open mind. This is my natural outlook. I was devastated as he was on my bucket list and paid higher end. Only to watch people leave in droves. I stayed hoping upon hope for a song I grew up with but nope! Then he just off. There was no interval even which was misleading for a great show. Actually, he just needs to pay his tax bill and we were irrelevant. So offended!

This concert was probably 20 years ago before Brian drank and smoked himself an extra 10 years of wear. Even with that he's still one of the worlds best guitarist and phenomenally talented ,we should all feel privlaged to see him in any way possible .
