Fun fact: Bang Chan said that he made this song after he asked Felix what he wanted to eat to which Felix said he was fine with anything. After Chan listed everything off the menu Felix said he didn't want any of it.

Hey! Love the content! As far as I know, this song is a mixture of the English word "Any" and the Korean word "Ah-ni" which means "no". Which is about wanting everything but not wanting them if they don't go their way. One of Hyunjin's line is probably the best way to explain it, " I'm a gourmet, picky eater." Hopefully my fellow STAYs can help out!

The first couples lines Hyunjin asked if Felix even knew what he wanted. They have so many options but still struggle to find what they actually want. Which is pretty typical when someone has so many choices but nothing catches their interest. Later Hyunjin and Felix both say “everything you said was wrong “. So everything that everyone tells them they should want hasn’t been what they wanted. That’s what I took from it. I love the word play from ani to any.

There's a wordplay too: "아니" = No (in korean) and it's pronounced as Ani. It's a song about being uncertain about what you want, as if you have all the options, possibilities or things listed down but you cannot decide so you just say "i dont know, any of those" or "anything". There's too many things to choose in the world so you either choose randomly something or you dont choose anything.

Actually that’s pretty easy to get from just the lyrics, Skz did a good job. This “I don’t want anything and I want everything at the same time” is not about being determined and saying no to other side things, but about the mood when you feel not that great and actually don’t want anything (not just the food, but many things in our life)

the english title "any" is actually a word play to the korean title "아니" (a-ni) which literally translates to "no". when explaining the meaning of this song they used the example of being asked what food you want to eat and you answering "any" but when you get asked if you want this or that you'd say "no". the song is basically about being indecisive and not knowing exactly what you want.

In a sense, it's about being moody and being at a point where nothing seems appealing. It's a very specific sentiment and as someone has already pointed out, it has a trivial origin of Bang Chan asking Felix what he wanted to eat and after listing every and any thing on a menu he just said no to everything. It's an "I don't know what tf I wanna do with myself" anthem.
