i cried so much because of lee know's cover yesterday, it's my favorite day6 song along with “i need somebody“ (still waiting for seungmin's cover), and it was so unexpected 😭 lee know's voice is soooo perfect for this, his vocals are amazing and i'm so proud of him 💔

So proud of Lee Know…he’s always been such a confident and strong dancer but something has really clicked into place for him recently and it’s like we’re all getting to watch him step into his full power. It’s so beautiful to see. I absolutely understand what you mean when you said that his voice is ethereal and just wraps around your heart…I get a very similar feeling too but the way I have always expressed it, is that his voice feels like it has wings…like it swoops in to capture you and you can just soar away on the sound of it ❤

love me or leave me is one of my favorite day6 songs, and Lee Know was very true to the original version, but that song is also sung by different members with different tones so to hear him do this whole song by himself was amazing and very impressive! he did such a good job and i'm so proud ☺

Between this song and the previous one that Changbin did before, it has always been positive messages. This is the first time Lee Know has ever dropped a cover of a song. It shocked us all. He improved so much with his vocal training, and it pays off. Also, knowing that skz will drop 8 skz-players. If he ever makes a song with a rock sound, that would be amazing because his voice suits so well with rock genre.

Kim Changwan is OG korean rockstar. He was 70s-80s legend. He was in a band called sanulrim. They introduced Hard Rock to korean audiences. mostly new generation know him as an actor. Their songs are mostly played in drama replay 1988.

This was such a surprise because this is one of my favourite day6 songs and i never expected to see it covered especially by lee know but it was a perfect choice, it goes so well with his voice, he did an amazing job!

In all honesty, Respect is not on my list of favorite songs. BUT! Changbin's gravely voice does things to my stomach 🦋❤ And Lee Know sings so beautifully! I teared up a few times listening, thinking about how far he's come ❤

You are not the only one to tear up during the Samsung ad! The message and delivery from both of them was just poetic. I think every STAY was just so proud of Changbin and equally as proud when Lee Know dropped this beauty on us! I love surprise content from the guys!

So proud of both of them ❤ Day6 are one of my favorites, they're a band (so live vocals and instrumentals!) with very strong vocalists, and the members participate in writing lots of their songs, especially Young K, who has a hand in most of their releases. Love me or leave me is one of my favorite songs from them, and Lee Know did such a great job, his voice suits this style really well!

8:16 They are a band (but they have a wide arrangement of musical genres under their belt, though they tend to be a bit more softer in their music. Oh, and they have killer emotional-charged lyrics, I need Young K and Jisung to write a song together [with Gun-il from Day6's juniors, Xdinary Heroes)

@@NewChapterReactions I can't reccomend them enough. Some of my favorites are Zombie (the title track of the album where Love me or Leave me comes from. Seungmin and Han have a cover of this song), Warning, 121U, How Can I Say, Time of our Life (Big anime opening vibes) and the entirety of the Book of Us: Entropy (Chan loves OUCH! btw). And as a bonus reccomendation, Let it be summer by Young K (one of the members) is an absolute banger

I can’t wait for you to get deep into Day6. I became a MyDay first before becoming a Stay. My bias line from SKZ (Seungmin, Jisung, Lee Know) did covers of Day6’s songs and that was the best thing ever. It’s like my 2 worlds collided. Also to add, Seungmin is actually the MyDay (Day6 fandom) president 😂🫶🏼

And Respect is actually available on Itunes/Spotify unlike Fly High. Reading up on Kim Chang-wan, he’s had a pretty impressive career. Very cool. And Stray Kids can go on making covers of Day 6 songs and I’d be very happy. My favourite, Congratulations, has already been covered of course but Day 6’s video had the added bonus of Choi Woo-shik.

The first time I watched Respect, I cried. This is now the second time I've watched it, and as soon as it started, my eyes were already tearing up. The lyrics and just watching young kids going for their dreams... gets me every time. I had never heard the day6 version of the song, but Lee Know sounded amazing on it and I really enjoyed it. And you are totally right - he has come so far. I remember watching the survival show the first time and being shocked about how far he has come. So proud of him.

Tbh I like "respect your dreams" (I think it's the full title) but Kim Changwan's voice style isn't my cup of tea so that's one reason I prefer Fly High but I'm happy at least this one is on spotify global so I can listen to it easily. Day6 is a rock/pop-rock band but they also incorporate electronic instruments, I think you'd like them. Lee Know... Wow... I was so shocked he released this cause I didn't expect it (tbh I literally screamed thinking he released a new solo song but I'm not complaining about the cover), his voice is perfect for this song and he improved so so so much since debut I'm so proud

Seeing Changbin doing these songs for Samsung, I've never been prouder to have a Galaxy 24 ultra. I've always had Galaxys, but this is my first time having the *newest* one (plus I was able to get an official skz case for it). Also, Leeknow's cover is amazing and I'm so proud of him.

every time lino casually mentions his short af training period or how he got little to no vocal training during those time, im just shooketh. im so glad he got to debut AND got the chance to get more vocal training, and keep improving bc he really can sing so well, if he's given the time to learn and train, and it's just so great to hear just how much better he's gotten which each new release (even listening to limbo and his parts in cover me, i thought "wow, he's gotten a lot better" then again maybe it's all in my head bc who knows when cover me is recorded and when limbo's recorded lol)
