I explained how this happens as a man myself IRL this behavior develops the most often in those who are an only child or the only girl or boy sibling in their family. So you don't get to experience this type of close interaction,fun or affection that often or at all. So when these people are later thrust into a situation where they suddenly have siblings/close friends that around them 24/7 or others of the same gender they begin to express that love and affection that didn't get or didn't get a chance to experience much so that is why people like that are very touchy and are soo comfortable and confident in hugging holding touching and kissing someone else they care about, in behavior psychology its part of a defense mechanism that affection and love is used to ensure you never lose those you care about because if you love them they will never leave you. I know no one thinks about the nuts and bolts of how things work lol

The best part? Every time Felix starts playing with someone's hands, he hugs them, cuddles them, etc, they don't really react. They're so used to it now. In fact most of the times they'll reciprocate by hugging or cuddling him back. They all find him so adorable, precious and lovable 😭😭😭
