Thanks for a new reaction! freeze and cheese are not connected. they are both hype songs with lots of rap, so they are often recommended to reactors among first ones. cheese is addressing haters. the song references many older songs, which got a lot of hate: lines"do you find du du du funny?" as well as mentions of pigeons and crows reference god's menu; "do you find head ache funny?" references side effects - arguably their most hated song. I am not sure what A-class references, I assume "awkward silence" maybe. so, SKZ kind of laugh about the haters' reaction (since "cheese" is smth you say to make people smile before taking a picture). besides, the types of cheese which Felix mentions are suitable for people with lactose intolerance, so SKZ kind of say that even haters will find songs in their discovery which they would like. I don't have much to say regarding freeze the song. but regarding the music video: at the end of the video Hyunjin is holding the newspaper which says that the mafia was arrested but their boss is still missing. then there comes the description of the boss (young, in an expensive suit, with a gun) and then I.N appears on the screen indicating that he was the mafia boss who pretended to be a policeman. I like all SKZ discography, so I will be happy to see your reaction to any songs of theirs. and for other groups I recommend to check out EXO!

I think the A class vibes is more to do with their music quality maybe. There is a Awkward silence reference though. Its the bit to do with "Cawing of crows."

KZbin isnt lettering me edit, I was ment to say you managed to give me insight. I've been trying to figure out the connection with the cheese, so that's interesting you mentioned that. Same with freeze ending. Now that you said that, it makes much more sense to me.

@@tracymcgill66 I was always a bit confused with the A-class line in cheese, thanks for your input!

Glad you liked the songs. To be frank, Freeze is just one of those SKZ songs where you're either going to dig the anti-drop and how strange the structure is or you're not. I like how different Freeze is from the rest of Oddinary. And as Stays always say, you're not always going to like everything and that's okay. Cheese is such a great conceptually interesting clapback to the haters song. It's kinda silly as away to trivialize the criticism. Like, your critiques are so silly and uninformed that we're not going to take them seriously for even a moment. I will say that I find that sometimes when a song doesn't grab me and burrow into my heart immediately, I'll listen to it again later when it's less of a surprise and I have more of an idea of how it goes. And I'll find myself digging it. Like that has happened sooo many times. I'll be listening to an album and a song I didn't care for the first time will just hit me and I'll just start rocking out.
