Here’s my theory on “GIants” In the beginning Seungmin started the song with „People think I’m big (aka. That they’ve achieved everything) but I’m small, I ain’t satisfied with the goals. (Aka. Expressing their relentless ambition and determination to achieve greatness) And then Felix followed up with “Just like a walking ant, let’s overcome the pain and become a Gi-ant” Which through out the music video they’re working hard, trying to find this magical egg which when put all together at the end, a bigger stronger egg is formed, of which a giant is born. Them but much stronger. Overcoming all obstacles, pushing boundaries with their music, they become unstoppable. Taking on the world and are ready to crush anything beneath them. “ Run, run, run before we come come come, I’m a Giant crushing worlds below” (aka. Those who try to bring them down.) Just like ants they’re always working (creating music), and just like ants, when they’re alone they’re weak but when they’re all together as a colony, they’re much stronger and unstoppable. They become a Gi-ant.

The fact that Han can make a couple seconds so iconic that each one becomes my personality for a long time. I've watched this MV quite a few times since it came out and I've rewound Han's part literally at every one of them at least 50 times LMAO By the way, I so understand your words about liking his voice. His voice is insanely versatile, depending on the genre and style of the song he can even sound like a completely different person. I've been in love with this group for years now and that fact about Han still continues to blow my mind

For the mining sound effects - they are. The album is officially out so I'm streaming it on loop on Spotify. Thrilled that they're part of the track (though not surprised). I'm totally asking Bang Chan on bubble if they used a xylophone scale for that or if it's actual sounds (like police sirens in their other music). Because it comes in right before the 'scale do re mi fa king giant' part. Also sounds both like pick-axe mining & like a bird breaking out of an egg (golden eggs in mv). If you want to get the albums right now the best way if you manage to find a GOM that has a Mercari Japan box. There is where you can buy not only the Japanese releases but also cheap photocards. I'm actually waiting for my friend to open another box of that website so I can star purchasing everything for Giant. Stray Kids are huuugeee in Japan and now there are everywhere due to this comeback and there are a lot of events. Also in this days they will have some concerts there.
