FNF means Flora and Fauna. I googled on how the song came about and got this: "We (Bang Chan and Felix) wrote this song about the feelings of sadness, regret, and longing that we felt when we saw so many animals and plants lose their lives during the big bushfires in our home country, Australia, a few years ago, and compared it to the feeling of losing someone you care about." Stray Kids' fans, do let me know if I missed out or got anything wrong hahaha Also, The Sound Japanese Vers. came out first. Now, this is just my opinion but the Japanese vers. sounds better to me. 😁 edit: I enjoyed listening to the whole album along with you. Thanks for your reaction and your input!

The reason The Sound has the least number of plays on Spotify is because it's the Korean version of the one they released a while back, so everyone has pretty much already heard it. The original was in Japanese, btw. Of the two versions, the Japanese one hits a lot harder. You would probably enjoy the original version's MV. Video title: Stray Kids 『THE SOUND』 Music Video

Item is just THAT bitch. The way it blows everyone away is my favourite. Edit: Tiger JK is known as the father of hip hop in Korea and is really well known and well respected. 3racha(the members of stray kids that produce everything(bang chan, han, changbin)) have even mentioned in their lyrics of their song heyday in the line "legendary like Tiger Jk" so he's a really big deal and it's amazing that stray kids got HIM as their first ever feature on a song! K-hiphop rappers and their listeners sometimes don't take k-pop rappers as serious rappers due to seeing them as more idols than artists which is ofc a generalization but this collab help bridge that gap and hopefully more k-hiphop artists are interested in working with skz and other cool kpop groups too especially and hoping more people give stray kids a chance since they have the best rapline in 4th gen hands down.

Loved your reaction and calling out all the unique sounds/samples that SKZ use! They have really made it their brand to bring the most unusual sounds together to make something brand new every time - I never know what to expect from them, which is why I always come back. Thank you for your insights as a professional! Also, not sure if you are familiar with Tiger JK, but he and his wife are considered the Godparents of K-HipHop in Korea. This is the first time SKZ have had a feature on one of their tracks, and they got the LEGENDARY Drunken Tiger JK. Moreso, they got someone from the K-HipHop/Rap industry, which generally KPop and K-HipHop/Rap are not known to intermingle (Kpop rappers are often seen as not real rappers by the k-rap industry) - so getting this collaboration feels very powerful. You can definitely hear Tiger JK's mastery of the craft but also the fact that the rest of the members did not feel overshadowed spoke to the care and quality of their work.

Your reactions were ME at first listen of 5Star. I'm hard-pressed to give a fave song if asked. There are so many great tracks. Thanks for the SKZ props. Our guys are so very talented. You mention similarities to metal, but the same can be said in the relation to rock or country music. I love that they will take elements of whatever they want to and spin it to what feels good. As an old lady Stay (52 yrs) it's what draws me to them. I've been around for a while and some of what's out there is so unoriginal and Stray Kids brings something my ears want to hear. I can always count on Bang Chan to grab something from eras past and make it current. He pays homage to it all. I love your analysis, "Find the space the music." For me, SKZ does this. Their lyrics and the production choices just hit for me. First time on your channel and I will go down the rabbit hole.

Changbin is also the main rapper, as well as having an awesome, growly singing voice. He is the 2nd fastest rapper in kpop at 11.13 sps 😍 He is also one third of 3racha, the main producers and writers of SKZ 😁❤️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

In relation to your comment on f&f, a little bg it's a song for a cause relating to Australia forest fires..and it can also pass as a love song if you don't think too much of the title 😂 the point being I think that's meant to appeal that way...

DLC is the first track that Changbin (and not Bang Chan) was the arranger/producer on the track. The last time Changbin was a producer (and not strictly a composer/lyricist) was pre-debut (2017) on his solo song "If" and 3RACHA's infamous track "WOW" (it has become a meme song). Generally, Changbin and Han (along with Bang Chan) are the composers and lyricists, with Bang Chan taking the additional arrangement/production and post-production work.

Sorry, huh? Lol I agree completely with the first half, but uhh... Han and Changbin do A TON OF production. Not only is 1/4 of the production done by just them with some done by other members (after all, there are 200+ track, and about 50 of those BangChan does not hold credits for. Those ones Han, Changbin and the rest of SKZ did without him.) But of those 150 that BangChan holds the credits for, around 100 of them Han and Changbin hold equal credit for as well.... Not just in lurics and composition, but in production. That was the first one he produced AND arranged himself since predebut... but it's not the first one he's produced without BangChan. And definitely not the first one that BangChan hasn't produced. they either work on stuff equally, or you will see that only one or two of their names are under production. But if their name is under production, then they had equal contribution. After all, 3RACHA are all the main/primary contributors and producers, It's only the co-producers that don't have full credits for equal input in production. As they are of course co-producers that SKZ have their as guides and advisors. But when it comes to 3RACHA... yeah, if their name is on it, they did as much of the production work as any of the other two. it's only in arrangement that Chan is the primary source from 3RACHA. Of course both a Han and Changbin have done arrangements before. However When it comes to being primary lead lyrics, composition, production and arrangement and having no other 3RACHA memebers in involved, that is definitely a nee one for him since debut. But having a heavy hand in production? Yeah... I mean, that's completely normal. It just so happens that his specialty is composition (melodies and toplines with a knack for unique and brilliant song structuring, making his songs very dynamic), When it comes to lyrics...particularly Rap lyrics, most definitely. He writes his own of course, and around half of the other members as well. While the deep lyrics are mostly Han's Forte, as he's responsible for the majority of the vocalists' lyrics (Not all, as Channie works on this too... When he's not downing in everything else.) as well as his own rap lyrics... So basically, when it comes to lyrics, for the MOST PART 3RACHA all write their own raps, Changbin ans Han share the responsibility of writing all the other members rap lyrics except in specific occasions where the memebers themselves do. Meanwhile, when it comes to the vocalists lyrics, this is Hans specialty. Chan gets in on this aspect more than Changbin does, but for the most part, the only time they have a heavy hand in writing the non rap lyrics is when they solo wrote a song or corrode with non 3RACHA members.... or just a line here or there by chance on songs that 3RACHA are working on together. To put It simply,.. 3RACHA all write their own raps, and have equal input in production in the majority of their music. However, if you break it down when it comes to the main aspects of record creation.... they all have a most involved to least involved aspect, and together they form the perfect unit of function. Obviously lol Chan's is.. Production... Composition Arrangements Lyrics (Predominantly vocals) Changbin... Composition Lyrics (predominantly rap) Production Arrangement Han... Lyrics (Both vocals and rap, specially melodic, equally) Composition Production Arrangement So nothing about 3RACHA is too one sided, as they each bring an integral element to the group that, without it, Stray Kids wouldn't be Stray Kids.

@@DaddiesLittlePsycho I'm only referring to KOMCA as Han has no Arrangement credits and Changbin only has one. Lyrics and Comp are separate (as you mentioned). That is not to discredit any of the amazing work each member contributes to the group (I have no bias for that very reason). I only stated because of interest in the beats, that Chan is the primary arranger of their discography (so far). Because pre-debut 3RACHA was the last time Changbin had a production/arrangement credit (they were referred to as the same thing on different SoundCloud sources), I put the two terms together per the credit line. Han has the most lyrics credits, followed by Changbin, then Bang Chan. Chan has the most comp credits, followed by Han then Changbin. I don't know what we are in disagreement about but I am very sorry for upsetting you if my comment was not clear enough.
