I dont have a bias but Lee Know is growing on me. Its so hard to choose as they all shine in their own unique way. Also they dropped their mini album Rock Star the 10th, only 5 months after their full album 5-Start 🫶🏻

Han bias here! lol The ACE himself. (He had the insane rap in Venom that you liked.) And actually... i think that was just chans Falsetto you guys heard on that "24/7" part. Lol Not autotune... That's just how should sound when a falsetto is done during a descending vocal run such as that. That having been said, they do use several forms of vocal effects at the ends of some of their syllables and/or words in most of their songs. Almost all artists do in factIts how you create echoing vocals, or reverb, or wide/open sounding vocals, you use different "effects"... but, allas, It's not autotune... Sometimes, I get the feeling that all of us fans perhaps need to take a crash course in learning the difference between autotune, tuning, and effects. Haha. Because effects are as described above, while tuning is the act of fixing/or "tuning" an actual vocal in post production... However when used by MOST professional singers, such as Stray Kids, it's, of course, not used to "correct" a vocal, as a vocal doesn't even make it past recording with it being anything less than perfect. They fix that by having the member do it over, or they will change the pitch/octive in which the song requires it be in, in order to fit the members rage, but they NEVER "fix" a vocal in post with tuning, as the members need to be able to recreate rhe vocals live in stage. Something that artiats tend to oberlook when they make a sing, instead, doing 500 takes for a single line in order to hit an impressive note, which is the issue that has led so mansy kpop idols to ha e to lipsync at their own concerts. But that is a different situation and cause for discussion in of itself... lol Anyways, point is, when it comes to tuning, Stray Kids just use it as a much more drastic form of effect. For example, if you listen to the mashup video for this album you will notice that at the end of the video the part that is giving a spoiler for this song, has felix doing one of his lines, but they tuned it. Making it very mechanical and dark sounding. That is how they use tuning, blatently and to make something sound inhuman... to make it just sound cool, but not to "correct" it just to try and make it sound like a good vocal. Meanwhile, autotune isnt going to be used by anyone in a studio recording of a serious song, at least, i hope not. Lol Because autotune is an application that is placed on the microphone that someone is singing into, and it "auto"matically "corrects" the pitch of the entire vocal, whether there's anything wrong with it to begin with or not, as its traveling through the microphone to the speaker. Its awful. Lol where tuning is a lot of work and only done on small fragments or singular words after they have been recorded, autotune is automatically applited to all of the vocals evenly in a "blending" kinda way. Basically, evening out the vocals to "erase a mistake".... like a voice crack or a pitchy note if it were to happen. However, you are going to sound robotic the whole time. So, its still used in live performances if there are parts that are say...MEANT to purposefully sound like a robot, or if they WANT the song to sound trippy. But it will be applied to your voice as long as the app is running, and it will not sound like a natural human voice at all. Whereas atcleast tuning DOES sound human, but it far from being auto anything. Lol As for what you heard in that part of the song... that was a rather normal example of an Chan singing a lyric in a falsetto during a decending run. Lol I have heard him, Han, Seungmin and Lee Know do exsctly those, live, several times each. I think I have even heard I.N do one. Haha. So, at LEAST half the group can do that no problem.

Agreed. Also Chan spoke about this in one of his lives. If I'm not wrong, I do remember that Chan also said that even if they use a tool like autotune, it's done for creative purposes to enhance vocals, not because they want pitch correction.

Yes an album came out with this song but before checking it out, please check out the album 5 Star that came before it 🙏🏻 8:41 my bias is Hyunjin because of his dancing skills, voice and outstanding stage presence (I have a whole playlist dedicated to his fancams lol but watch on your own risk.. he is very addicting) Hyunjin is the blond long hair one with the gun rap-verse you saw in your last reaction Venom.

Stray Kids like to do a lot of words playing. Playing with the sounds and meaning. The title is LALALALA Cause it sounds similar with their album title “樂” Which is a Chinese character means Joy or happiness, it also has a similar pronunciation of Rak, aka ROCK in English. The English title for this album is Rock Star, and they wrote it as 樂 Star. The song & the album is basically talking about Joy of music, and how music can defeat all the other emotions like Anger & Sadness & other demons or anxiety (which were represented by the giants) You can also see those 4 main emotions in Chinese characters 喜怒哀樂 disappeared during the song, then all is left is 樂 at the end, just like Changbin’s lyrics said, after pain there’s only Joy. That this genre is Joy Rock (樂Rock) So Throughout the song they uses lots of words that sounds like ROCK & 樂 to emphasise that meaning.

To get to know stray kids better you should watch the 2023 guide by teanosuga it is a longer video but it’s perfect for information. Megaverse i reccomend it’s from the same album as this song is.

There are 8 songs on their new album. Hyunjin is my bias. You should react to the 2023 guide to SKZ to get to know all the members better. It is an hour long but we will watch it with you.

Autotune is not a bad thing he clearly has a autotune on his voice for an a effect not because his vocals are bad

That was autotune. Chan is very well capable of singing exactly like that live, but it was a stylistic choice to use autotune there during the recorded version

This song is the title track of their new album Rock Star which dropped 10 Nov. This is the first MV aside from Megaverse and Leave concert MVs. I love the whole album. Such a diverse mix of upbeat and slow songs. Their last album was only 5 months ago 5 Star. Think you already reacted to that title track S Class. The MV is actually pretty clever and not just random scenes thrown together. Some one explained that the big monsters are the personification of emotions like stage fright for the kids. Each scene represents a different emotion based off the Chinese symbol in each scene - Happy (bank scene), Angry (pirate scenes), Sad (domino scene) Joyful / Pleasure (Mad Max scene). These dissolve over the MV leaving the last as the main emotion. Most fans assume the band are the past child versions of stray kids coz there are 8 of them. The choreo ends with skz giving the I love you sign to the kids like saying I love you to their past selves. I can’t pick a favourite. Different members wow me at different times so I guess I’m just an OT8.

The falsetto that you hear Bangchan sing at the end is not autotune. He has sang it multiple times live - I recommend you do a video reaction of the live version. I also recommend you react to Cover Me - no video but they have the song with lyrics in KZbin. That song will show you how beautiful and powerful their voices really are.

Lee know and seungmin are my biases! Lee know is amazing dancer, but is also a great rapper and vocalist, and seungmins voice is just soo good! You guys should really react to same of their live performances from kingdom( A voting based tv show where 6 K-pop boy groups go head to head over the course of 10 weeks) although only 7 member participated on the show( Hyunjin did not participate because he was on hiatus) Not only were their performances incredible, they ended up winning the show 🎉I recommended you react to Easy and Item if your looking from some rap based songs with great beats! I also recommend you react to a 2023 guide to stray kids, it’ll make you love this group even more🎉
