han and changbin are actually beautiful singers! stray kids are a quite unique kpop group, for many ways that you already know about, and also because they don't have fixed positions within their group. They used to, but they've been showing more of their real selves throughout their career and they got rid of their "position titles" a while ago. That's because every member can rap, sing and dance. They are a group of multitalented artists, and all of them have played a part in songwriting and producing their music before. Funny story: they competed on a show called kingdom last year, against 5 other kpop groups (they won!) and in the first episode the MC asked everyone who their group's main singer was. Every group had a member who could clearly raise their hand because they had "main singer" as their title, but stray kids was the only group in which they were all confused and no one knew who to raise their hand, since they consider the whole group "singers" and all of them play major roles in vocals. The entire fandom was losing it cause it was so funny.

A lot of Stays think this song is about their various struggles as artists. Hyunjin being locked in the box symbolises when he was put on hiatus based on false childhood bullying claims. Felix is looking into the box but can only see himself, symbolising the time he came to Korea not knowing the language and couldn't communicate with the people around him. Bang Chan is on the running track alone, referring to how he was a trainee for 8 years, constantly pushing to debut as his friends debuted before him or left. I am not completely sure of these though: Changbin went onto Show Me The Money exhausted as he had to fit it around promoting and didn't give his best, or him being in the stadium seating suggests he misses being on stage and performing. Han is stuck under the stage lights, the place he feels most comfortable but once he steps past that, his anxiety grips him. I believe Seungmin references his time playing baseball, although the whole bandage thing is confusing. Both I.N and Lee Know's parts I don't have a clue about. Hopefully someone will help me with that.

Bangchan actually said during their live tours that they’re called “Stray Kids” to reach out to those who feel astray and who are lost. @@matterofperspective101 no no i mean both writing and composing was solely done by both of them. Chan also made the instrumental and versachoi helped arrange that inst. but he was not credited as a composer therefore songwriters (meaning lyrics and composing) are only chan and hyunjin :) although hyunjin said chan already had the topline ready but we saw him come up with the chorus melody so he contributed as well.

I just mean the whole idea making the subunit song in this concept was initially Hyunjin's, I've watched the entire Howl In Harmony series/all episodes, they explained entire creative process behind it. SKZ discography is very versatile, people know their bangers but they have soft, emotional songs,rock etc They have Awaken, 3rd eye, they have Levanter, they have Winter Falls.... Slump, Scars, Blueprint You noticed it right about parallels between Hyunjin and Felix, both are face of the group. Hyunjin is most popular member and very well known even outside of the fandom, his popularity is comparable with 3rd gen idols, he's 2nd most biased Kpop Idol overall in entire Kpop after BTS V :) (due millions of votes on fan poll) and Felix + Hyunjin have great friendship/chemistry, idk if you're interested in such content but they release vlogs/videos about interactions between members. 2Kids Room recently every Monday, there's HyunLix Episode, you can clearly see how naturally closed they are, they are besties We all like Changbin!!! Sometimes they hit you with the… Ddu-du ddu-du? 😆 Did you know that Stray Kids made their own version of Blackpink’s song for “Kingdom; Legendary Wars”? It’s amazing! Full of rap. You definitely need to check out their performance. I’m usually more into high energy music (that’s why I love SkZ so much), however, I enjoy a lot of their emotional songs too. Red Lights is also one of my favorites, and Lonely St has already take a place in my heart. About Hyunlix (Hyunjin and Felix duo)… I used to think that too when I got into Stray Kids 😆 I guess is the hair color and their obvious beautiful features. Eventually you tell them apart, especially when Hyunjin has black hair; he looks so different. And yeah, they are very close to each other (they even share couple items, hahaha), but it’s also a fact that in Stray Kids all the members love each other so much. Changbin and Chan made this song. My only complain is the autotune but apparently Changbin asked Chan to use it for a contrast with the raw instrumental. Still this is a very good song, especially the chorus is peeerfect.

Thanks for the next episode in your SKZ Oddinary reaction week. I started with Maniac, then Venom, then Lonely St and was kinda mind-blown by the switch up in sound. I'm glad you are enjoying their vocal work as well as rap. Your observation about Changbin delivering his vocal line with a rap cadence is informative for me. I'm not a fan of rap as a standalone medium so hearing the perspective of a rapper on delivery, the passion and overall grit of rap, is meaningful. I'm a metal head from teenage years ( for 40+ years) so heavy bass and speed metal guitars give me that same vibe. I'll be watching your channel for more of your insights into music.

Stray Kids is a group that I and many others are personally very proud of stanning. Because they aren’t just your everyday run of the mill K-pop group, they are so unique and talented that you can’t help just thinking “wow I’m so lucky to be a Stay”. In case you didn’t know since most of the songs you’ve reacted to don’t show it much, everyone in the group can sing, rap, and dance. I’m honestly waiting for you to listen to one of their songs where Changbin and Han go off in vocals because they are INCREDIBLE singers and I feel like you’ll be as shocked as the rest of us since we’re just so used to them being hard rappers. If you ever want to listen to their vocals, I’d recommend listening to “Neverending Story”. But back to what I was saying before! Stray Kids unique in the sense that they can do it all. Obviously I just said it and ranted about it, but they are all truly multi talented artists. And despite 3RACHA being the ones who’ve written all the SKZ songs, the other members also have credits in some of their songs for helping. They may not be at the same numbers as 3Racha, but to Stan a group where all the members take part in creating their songs is truly incredible. I recommend watching Kingdom (or at least their performances) to see just how much duality they have. Kingdom was a competition show where they competed against 5 other groups (and they won!), you’ve actually reacted to one of the performances before when iKON (one of the groups that participated) covered Pretty Savage and Lisa made a special appearance. If you decide to watch any Kingdom performances of Stray Kids I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend “I’ll be your Man” and “God’s DDU-DU DDU-DU”

Thank you Anthony loved your reaction. Now that you have a quite a few newer Stray Kids videos under your belt and you are officially a baby stay. Love to see your reaction to how Stray Kids begun with reacting to their pre debut m/v Hellevator which is heavy rap and lots of meaning and their debut song District 9 m/v which is also heavy rap and you get to see Lee Know rap and Hyunjin starts the video i say this because you may not recognize him. LOL. 2 of my favorite stray Kids songs are also Victory Song performance m/v/ (like a reg. video but has more choro), Grrr performance m/v. This 2 songs are very hype songs and gets me going or wakes me up. all of these videos are with the original 9 members before Woojin left due to personal reasons. They are a must see of how the grown up sine them and their growth today. You will love them I promise. Since you also like Red Lights you might want to check out Drive by Bang Chan and Lee Know. It is a smoother slower song but still very good. Now that you are a stay you need to see how they all started and react to some of their iconic m/v's the above list will get you started. There is still so many more to go since Stray Kids have released so many songs in the 3 years.

They released a japanese album recently too, title song: Circus. A lot of the songs on the album are the oddinary songs but in japanese, but Circus is new and there's an MV for it. As of now though, there still aren't any captions on it. (sadface) but there are some lyric videos out there if you want to check those out first. I know there are at least two, one has a lot more views, but the one that has Official lyrics in the title is the one to watch (if interested). Fun Fact: Changbin starts out Circus :)

Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but their backstories tie in with their scenes. Chan trained for 7 years and kept getting left behind (not picked to debut) so it starts with him losing a raslce and being left alone. Hyunjin had a public scandal that put him under a microscope so he's in a glass box with lights all on him but he feels like he's in the dark., etc. Just kinda makes the song more heartbreaking when you know their history
