For me personally the thing with Lee Know on "Waiting for us" is that he really had lines and could showcase his singing.. since then he worked so hard on his vocals. As an Lee Know ult his last 2 years were so fascinating to watch - you only can feel it when you know Skz a little longer and truly know and appreciate his evolution of him and the boys. :D

Now when you finally heard Waiting for us & Muddy water, can you imagine the switch up? :D It was such a shock when they did it. I mean, both songs are freaking difficult, Waiting for us has so many high notes and Muddy water such a unique parts including Han's super fast rap? Yeah, I really couldn't imagine our rap line singing and our vocal line rapping these songs but maaaan, they slayed! You really have a lot to look forward to! :)

Heads up they also have something called a "mash up video" for some of their albums (including this one). If I recall correctly the first one was their IN:LIFE album and from then on they always did it. Its like an entirely new track/video of all the songs tho not so much the beats as it is the lyrics bcs its so mashed up and remixed. I highly suggest checking them out when doing album reactions, they're masterpieces and very satisfying to listen to. Created by bangchan (sometimes) and/or our one and only VERSACHOI (producer and friend of bangchan for years who has helped produce a bunch of their stuff) P.S. also they don't have dance and recording behind the scene videos for every album unfortunately only for 5-star and rock star. There are some other recordings scattered here and there tho that have subs fans have put on them (usually for their Japanese comebacks)

Waiting for Us was written by those four for Stays during the pandemic cuz they didn't know when they would see us again. Yeah pretty much all the albums have trailers and intros. NoEasy Thunderous and Oddinary are my two favorites. Chan has one of my favorite voices too. Like you said there's always so much emotion behind it.

I love that you go out of your way to talk about each member and also talk about the music stuff that most people (myself included) don't usually notice. It makes me appreciate the songs even more. I'm soooo excited for you to start digging into the other albums, especially No Easy (which sounds like noisy, for the word play). There's just an insane amount of different styles and it has a lot of my favorite songs from their whole discography. Well that album and In Life because Tortoise and the Hare is such an interesting song and very experimental. But honestly you can't go wrong with anything they've created and I will devour any content you make haha

Finally caught up I think! ❤ Putting everything they give us for an album together like this really makes it evident how thought out their albums and each cb is. It's crazy hearing how many songs were made to be title tracks, or which song was supposed to be on an album, but was held back then included in another album 2 years later, or which song was almost scraped altogether (*cough* Megaverse *cough*). To have that peek into their process like this- we are so lucky. I'm just realizing we might be getting an intro to 合 (HOP) soon! I'm not reaaddyy! 😣😣

Waiting For Us Made me realise that you can miss a song, like just randomly i would be like i wanna listen to Waiting for us during work or study.
