I agree with you. I prefer the tighter more cohesive looks collectively. Apparently there was criticism somewhere that there was too much leather and black/white in the last few comebacks, so it seems that the stylists have tossed in a more "street" looks. It's ok and if anyone can pull it off it's Stray Kids, but like you said, it doesn't scream luxury.

‘Instead of chasing what’s shiny, shine yourself.’ I don’t think they need excessively flashy s-class outfits, because the message is about their own worth, not just the things they wear (as they wear designers lol). I think the outfit inspirations have more significance with the complex story line, but that’s my theory. I don’t really like the velour color, but I did like a couple outfits from that set - namely Changbin’s. I am wondering if maybe it was just one of the safer colors for them to choose to pair with all the fire effects giving some sets a rather orange hue? There was also a fourth set of outfits you might have missed during the bridge. I.N in the blue jacket, Lee Know in the beret, then the three outfits from Han, Hyunjin and Felix when the car explodes. Some of their comeback stage styling is serving this time too.

The whole outfit represents a tiger, which has a lot to do with the identity of Korea :)

I mean when we look at the outfits, they're defo flashy with all of the brand names but I don't think the styling is necessarily flashy. Yeah the colour to work with the fire makes sense, as that set is very tonal. I did miss those outfits, shit! I mean Lee Know's was my fave. Lee Know in a beret, like c'monnnnn

Love your reactions! I agree with you about the black and white outfits and that Hyunjin's outfit is the best of the colorful set. I disagree a bit about the velour tracksuit pieces. I would have felt that way, but I think the variety of pieces and styling make that set of outfits really cool. I think the burnt orange is a bold color that will stick with you.

It works for me because the song isn't just about being luxurious but about being odd and special and standing out. A lot of the looks have been designed with that in mind, I think. Things that people would call odd or that stand out in a way that a lot of people wouldn't like but that shows off the boys' unique 'color'. And isn't that very SKZ? They're gonna do odd things that don't work for everyone but in the end, it's gonna be authentic to them and it's gonna get attention. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Stray Kids definitely have their own style, and overall I love SKZ style, as you say it's authentic. I think I'm just very particular when it comes to the use of colour ... obviously when I obsess over B&W hahaha

i expect this reaction AHAHA personally i lovedd the black and white too (esp on hyunjin although i'm fs biased, i died at the dance break zoom in) and i rly liked the other set of looks that you missed that someone pointed out!! i'm in LOVE with han's jacket and felix with the black fluffy hat (in some photocards) too looks so cute... as for the velour (i thought it was velvet oops) i hated it as well like its just so ugly... hehe thank you for the reaction as always george

Enjoyed watching this and learning from fashion expert's point of view :) I think the whole hiphop scene outfit is to represent Korean tiger (or Siberian tiger)🐅. The Korean peninsula is in the shape of tiger and tiger also shows up in a myth of how Korea was founded. Overall, tiger has lot to do with identity of Korea. I hope Stays found this comment helpful :)

I agree with you! From what I've seen from this comeback (very little, I'm not really following), the styling feels a little lackluster compared with Oddinary and Maxident. Like, I WAS LIVING for the looks on those comebacks! And I think it's because of what you said: lack of cohesion, (my) personal taste and maybe even a lack of a little spice...? You know what I mean?

Ah it's been a while, haven't had time to watch your videos lately 😅 But then I saw this pop up and I had to see what you were thinking haha. I think I agree mostly with you, but personally I think I like the coloured outfits a little bit more than you. From the other concept pictures I've seen (the ones that are only in the albums), I think they were also going for the concept "trashy rich", which suits the velours/tracksuit outfits to me. I did find an interesting fact for the colourful outfits, because I saw a stay who picked out all the colours of the pride flag in them. The theory might be a stretch, but since they have a June comeback, I'd love to think this is a tribute to pride month! Loved the reaction, George, thanks for sharing!

Trashy rich is defo a concept we all love haha but I don't get trashy from the velour looks at all 😂 oh that's an interesting theory behind the colour looks. I personally don’t really like jyp stylists not even one group that stood out so far, for stray kids especially this s-class song, their clothes look cheap and not classy at all

I kinda agree, imo the pieces don't look cheap and they usually wear a lot of designer clothing. I know fashion is subjective but for skz, jyp stylists should upgrade the aesthetics of how the pieces look or find better stylists for skz to really shine.
