Stray kids survival show was different from the usual survival show, they were the only trainees there and they didn't have to compete against eachother to be in the group, they were doing missions to debut as 9 or each mission a member could be eliminated if JYP thought they weren't good, that's why their bond is really strong too because from the start they worked to debut together as a group. EDIT 1: it's district9 because they really had a family image of ''nine or none'' and they created their own space so ''stray kids'' around the world would find a place in their district. EDIT 2; Red lights is about addiction to work, they made it sensual but their inspiration is that both of them are workaholics who without knowing continue to work even if they're tired, it comes from their real life because they continue to produce and write lyrics or dance even late at night.

about the guy who's vocals you guys liked. his names is woojin and he left the group back in 2019. stays nowadays don't talk about it much because there was a lot of controversy surrounding him and/or his departure from the stray kids. he is solo now, you can check him out if you would like but we as a fandom don't really asociate him with the kids anymore since he is not a part of a group.

1. Stray Kids produce almost all of their own music, their rapunit 3RACHA is mainly responsible for this. Chan really is a genius idol producer ngl. SO many of the beats he makes are just... just WOW. 2. So cool that you guys knew that Hellevater was a pre-debut song! A lot of people often forget that. And the reality TV show they were in, all 9 that took part debuted lol. They eliminated two members (Lee Know and Felix) but brought them back later. We got clowned real hard by JYPE huhu. Their debut stage of District 9 is epic btw. 3. Woojin left the group due to personal reasons back in the day. My guess is SKZ sound just didn't really fit with him (I've followed them since predebut and I always loved his voice, he got so very little lines in their songs though, even as the main vocal) , and compared to the rest of the group who are like literal bouncy balls half the time, he was more introverted. When he left some seriously nasty people brought up some false accusations about him and I am not kidding when I say I have never seen a fandom act more disgustingly than I did around that time. People were sending him death threats and stuff. STAY's and a lot of other kpoppers gave this man so much hate, _over nothing_ . (Anyweh. If you see any comments regarding that jsut ignore them.) That's why even though I love SKZ, I've pretty much distanced myself from the fandom the past years. Woojin released an EP this year actually, all the songs and lyrics are really comforting and his vocals really shine on there if you're interested. ;) He also released a cover of Drivers Licence with GAHO that's really good.

The fact that they write all of their music really allows them to distribute the lines in the best way possible and make all these different aspects of their songs work together, plus it gives them a chance to try new things and improve in different areas :)

They write all the songs and produce almost all of it, I think there's only 2 songs they didn't produce. They have so many types of songs and I really recommend reading the lyrics when you get a chance as their lyrics are just amazing. Side Affects and Silent (two of my favorite songs ever) are stunning and super hard hitting lyrically wise. If you prefer their vocal stuff then I recommend Chronosaurus, Blueprint, Oh, Levanter, Winter Falls, 24 to 25, The View, Surfin, My Universe, Gone Away, and Scars.

50:40 stray kids is a group with a lot of freedom. jyp wanted to try something new when skz debuted. He wanted to form a completely self-producing group. Bang chan, the leader of the group, chose the members himself. yes, they came from a survival program, but they did not compete with each others as in other survival programs. Chan chose the members and practiced with them, made music together. He told JYP when they were ready and that's when the program started. The goal was to debut as a full group. JYP gave them various missions and if there was someone he thought was lacking in talent, he would eliminate them. In the first episode, JYP didn't even know the others except Chan. SKZ can have a completely decisive position in the music they make, in the things they publish, in their own concepts. I can proudly say that they are the group have most freedom i have ever seen and that's one of the limited things I love about JYP. There are some groups that even their own group names have been determined by someone else, and the songs are completely prepared by someone else. I'm not saying these groups are bad, but what attracts me in SKZ is creativity and productivity. You can see the characters of the members in the songs because they do everything themselves. ALL the songs in the skz discography is contributed by 3racha. and every scene they do really has a meaning in the background. And yes, she said that if it had been 10 years ago, the skz music would not have been understood. She is quite right because it is not understood by most people at the moment too. there are too many people who just think they are 'noisy'. cause they don't even give them a chance. they just hear somethings from someone and just judge them. Unfortunately, they have as many antis as they have fans. Antis are on the rise as their popularity has increased lately.

Actually, it's Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin who decides pretty much everything with regards to music. Bang Chan is the one who picked the members of this group. They have 100% control over their music. They're involved even in the recordings of other members, which is why everything fits perfectly because they know their members very well and how to make them shine. Aside from music production, Bang Chan is also involved in sound engineer. Literally 100% self-produced.

54:02 skz live performances are fantastic. You can watch music programs, but you probably can't watch them on the channel. The first thing that comes to my mind is the 2019 Japan showcases. Prior to debuting they did have a rap unit called 3racha made up of Chan, Changbin, and Han. They have a ton of tracks that they put out prior to being part of skz. They’re also the producing line for skz and if you look at the credits of any of their songs there’s a 99% chance that you’ll see one or more of their names on them.
