You can bop to them even without knowing the meaning of the song, but when you know the messages of the song, it becomes 100x better and meaningful. Flashback to Jan 2020, I like skz but was still a casual listener, bought a last minute ticket 😂, went to the nyc hulu theatre alone and was awestruck by their performances, especially double knot. Changbin waved at me and did a thumbs up 👍 i did it back too. Seungmin stared my way so i did a ❤ and he just continued staring 😅 Afterwards i was determined to attend every skz concert because of the awesome experience but then covid hit 😢 Listened to skz songs during lockdown and they helped me to get thru the toughest times 😢 and i finally got to see them in oakland 🎉 Very proud to be a Stay that saw their growth 😊❤

I’m 44. I grew up in the era of the 90’s “Boy Band” (which I couldn’t stand honestly). I’ve heard a lot of K-pop songs and they remind me a lot of the 90’s boy band sounds. Well, to all the people who are still deciding on giving Stray Kids and their music a chance - as someone who's been following their career for two years now, I definitely feel frustrated after reading the article. What it failed to convey is how this is a very particular group of talented, hard working and humble people who aren't afraid to express themselves creatively in various, often experimental ways. Their songs are relatable for younger generations, they are about our fears, hopes, our daily lives. And the production is amazing honestly, I like the uniqueness of SKZ sound and how each of their new releases keeps me interested - what did they do this time, what genre will they try, what interesting sounds will they show? And they are exquisite performers too! But what's the most important, I genuinely feel like they're good people and this is what made me support them for quite a long time now. This is what their success comes from, not from two big companies, it comes from them being genuine and unapologetically themselves, this is what made me a fan. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Stray Kids and wishing them a great successful future.
